Meh

I made a reservation here as back up in case we couldn’t get into the State Forest campground we had planned on. When we turned up we found what amounted to a parking lot. While the camp hostess was lovely, it simply didn’t feel anything like camping to me. It’s a great (albeit crowded) spot if you have an RV and a boat to launch. But if it’s a quiet weekend in nature you are seeking, this is not your spot. Facilities were a little crowded and schmutzy

Great place for boaters

Nice family campground right on the lake. If you like to bring your boat while you camp, this is the place for you! Beautiful lake 1 mile from Rockport State Park. There are many parks to explore in the area. Great spot near Lake Huron. I had a rustic spot right on the lake. It was next to the boat launch which made it quite busy, but overall a great site. Boaters were very respectful & was decently quiet for all of the activity at the site.
