Thousand Trails Harbor View

This is a 26-acre, start up Christmas tree farm in Huntingtown, MD, just 40 miles south of Washington DC. You'll find a swimming pool, canoe and kayak rentals, and a zip line for kids. There is firewood, fire pits, and an outdoor shower all for your enjoyment. This beautiful area calls for biking, swimming, paddling, horseback riding, fishing and much more! There are 6 sites on the property, with up to 12 guests per site.

This park's peaceful surroundings on a peninsula between the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River in St. Mary's County belie its history as the location of a camp which imprisoned as many as 52,264 Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. A museum on site recounts this vivid history. A park map is available at park headquarters, the camp office, camp store and the Civil War Museum/Marshland Nature Center. The Point Lookout Lighthouse is currently closed for renovations.

 We are a family oriented place offering nice modern beach cottages and campgrounds. All our cottages are on the
beach or have nice views of the beach and river. They are modern and come with WiFi, Satellite TV, full kitchens including microwaves and
coffee makers. The cottage you choose can be a snug little place for a romantic getaway, or you might have a celebration in mind. Well then,
bring the friends and family and stay in one of our larger cottages that can accommodate up to 24 guest. Whatever your need we’re sure we can
find the right size cottage for you. For the more adventurous outdoor crowd we have campsites along the beach. All the campsites come with picnic
tables and fire rings. Campmd offers an olde time atmosphere with modern conveniences, most of our guest are
repeat customers. Check us out we really believe you’ll like it. We’re only 2 hours away but you’ll feel like your halfway around the world.

Take It Easy Campground is family owned and operated with 242 sites.  Most sites have full hookups with 30/50 amp service, and many are shaded.  Our pop-up area has water and electric.  We are a family-friendly campground with areas for eating, play, and relaxing.  Military personnel and contractors are welcome too.

Check out our inviting picnic areas, spacious sites, lake, fishing pond and well maintained grounds.  Our swimming pool is open all summer long.  We also have a prayer chapel. 

Take It Easy Campground is great for group or family outings, and there are lots of fun things to do in the local area.

At Breezy Point Beach, there’s fun for the whole family. Our beach is a popular destination for fossil hunting, swimming in the bay and fishing. Because of the popularity of the beautiful beach, especially during summer weekends and holidays, the park often fills to capacity.
