      Fredonia Bay Campground — Fall River State Park

      Level spots, large sites. Nice large trees

      While passing through the area on Kansas 400 east of Wichita, we stayed the night at Fall River State park, Fredonia Bay campground. The lake was beautiful, large trees provided shade canopy. Most sites were gravel, but level. Water and electricity were good. Site was $23.75 for the night. There was no one else in the park, so it was very quiet.

      The staff was amazing, was able to accommodate a late check in. The park was clean and easy to park. Easy to navigate for larger rigs.

      Nice little campground. Not fancy but everything you need for a day or two recharge. Hot clean showers and restrooms, and a good restaurant right next door.

      Nice place to be if you’re visiting in the area, or love water sports – it looks like. Many of the sites adjacent to the water are very nice. Our site was nice and secluded. Level and one of the better sites.
