There have been a total of 3 people camping here this weekend. If you want peace, quiet, and solitude, this is a great place!!! There have been a half dozen cars come through, one being a sheriff, so it’s not TOTALLY, quiet but nothing too noisy. Keep in mind there are no amenities other than a pit toilet(no shower) that was actually quite clean! Anything you need, you have to bring with you including water. There is also no dump station…. It worked out great for me. Also, it’s not free like the website stated. It’s ten dollars a night which is reasonable…
This campground is so open and dark that the sky is full of stars 🌟
It feels very desolate and remote.
I love being close to the river and watching the birds.
If you love being in nature this is the best place to be! It's almost completely all natural. And only $15 per night.
Perfectly pleasant. There are flush toilets and showers. The lake adds a nice scenery. There aren’t too many amenities so this is good for a short stay
It’s well kept the bathrooms/shower house are pretty decent has a good view and beach was really fun
It’s a small gravel turnaround and not very level in the grasses but if you have a pick of the spots you’ll be able to settle. There is very little shade and we’re here in 95° but there is a slight breeze. Nice, quiet, secluded spot to spend a couple of days. But watch out for the ticks in the long grass
Beautiful location even if is next to casino. Shame that the infrastructure is not better cared for. Many sites are blocked off because of disrepair. Our site was good but cable box has no feed. I suspect no cable in the park. I'd come back again.
