We offer 34 Full-hook sites that back-up to the Ohio River in Western Kentucky. We are open late April until the end of November. All of our sites are spacious, and most of them are shaded. GuideThis is a no frills campground just off of I-69/I-24. Check in was completed online and our site was marked with our name. All sites are full hook up with concrete pads. The county has a trail system that begin just a few hundred feet down the road that is a nice stretch of the legs. The skeleton on the motorcycle welcoming you was interesting, maybe we were really early or really late for Halloween. The campground is in need of some TLC of the grounds. There also seems to be a lot of long term residents.

Very great stay. Nice well kept rv park. All the spots are full hook up and are right next to the river for a great view. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Nice place off the beaten path. All the spots are spaced out too.

If you are traveling on I 57 or I 55 this is a great over night stay. Beautiful Campground but not to many amenities. IT does have the best internet we have had in 3 months. Love the trees and nice level sites. It has a few run down long term campers, but they don't over run the place.

Spacious and level sites with full hook-ups. The campground is convenient to all of the attractions in the area. There is easy access to the tunnel state trail in Vienna. It’s about a 9 mile ride to the tunnel. Be sure to visit Garden of the Gods. Really remarkable.

RangerReal nice RV park orientated toward rigs of all sizes. Easy to navigate the roads, with every site level concrete. ATT & Verizon both worked fine. Wifi & cable included in the price. 10% discount for Good Sam, military & seniors. Right off a hiway (W) and a bit noisey, but all in all a nice park, especially for a night over. Sites are reasonably spaced, many with large trees. Not real far off 55. Would stay here again for a nioght ofer and even an extra night. They also have a dog park area.

We stayed at Duck Creek while visiting family in the area. It sits along a very busy road. There are a lot of sketchy, long-term residents here. We were placed on an end site crammed up next to a long-term resident. The last night of our stay there was a rainstorm and we woke up to ankle-deep water pooled around our trailer. Worse, the sewage flooded and backed up into our campsite. Disgusting. Nope, we won’t be back.

This little RV Park is not far off the highway and it was easy to find. Staff was nice and friendly. Each space has full hookups and its own picnic table.

We stayed 4 nights on our way through Kentucky and really enjoyed this park. It is very close with easy access to Interstate 69 and Highway 68. It is right next door to the Land Between Lakes and Benton, KY.
This is more of a travelers park, although there were quite a few long term residents in RVs. The park is built on hills but they did a great job leveling the sites. Gravel roads take you to your spot. There is water and electric. They have a dump station and pump out services. They do have showers available, they were the push button showers so it wasn’t a long relaxing hot shower (had to warm up each time).
Cellular service for AT&T and TMobile were both great.
Owners were very friendly, and made the check in process easy.

We did an overnight in this KOA on our way to Tennessee, the rates are decent and I needed full hook ups to finish de-winterizing the camper. Small place, but has a very nice pond side of the campground that would be great for a longer stay.

We managed to snap up site #43 out of pure luck. Level, water and electric while most of the campground is electric only. No full hook ups available. All the lots are paved and our site is located under an enormous oak tree. The campground is just minutes to the state park and Lake Barkley. Only 2 hours from home this park is worth the drive several times a year.

Over 300 campsites from primitive, electric w/ water and full hook ups in each area along with campstore, modern restrooms and shower houses and so many things to do: swimming, fishing, boating, boat ramps, laundry, basketball courts, archery range, playgrounds, hiking trails plus seasonal events, amphitheater and church. We visited before the busy season so lake was low and fishing sucked however and it was peaceful/quiet. I can definitely see this campground being crazy when sites are booked solid.
TravelerRelatively new. Has great potential. Located in Vienna, IL near Shawnee National Forest. It has 3 fish & release ponds. Sites were a bit hilly which stands to reason since it was converted from a golf course in 2016. Some sites are pretty long. It accommodated our 35ft. MH with attached car. Some sites are close together with very little shade. The campground had lots of open sites during our stay (3rd week in Aug), but during our stay 2 other short stay campers came in & they parked them right next to us. -Full hook ups available -Hosts were very friendly & provided insight to area. -Bath house - provided air conditioning. Although new & spacious there were only 4 in the entire campground & the toilet & shower were in same space. Upon arrival only 1 was open near us. Subsequently the 2nd was closed due to a water valve malfunction & wasn’t re-opened during our stay. My husband likes level sites & facilities he could use. He said he wouldn’t come back any time soon.
GuideThe hosts were delightful and very helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. However, The sites were uneven, difficult to get in and out of with a large rig. Long term guests next to us were rude and insulting when asked to leash their dog, after it twice attacked our dog. As a result of this negative experience we cannot recommend this park.

There’s only one valve in the showers so all you get is lukewarm water. Not good on a cool or cold day. Some of the long term people have too many dogs, one had 6 little yippers, kind of annoying. Located on the edge of Paducah, Kentucky this is the perfect place to stay if you are going to the quilt shows or visiting the National Quilt Museum. Supplies are just walking distance away and there is a good 24 hour restaurant across the street.
There are shady pull through sites with full hook ups or tent sites. There is a small stocked lake to fish in. The bathrooms are clean, as is the entire well maintained park.

Pros: Right on the Mississippi River. Full hook ups. Beautiful state park with awesome trails and visitor center. Cons: Sites are tight along the river. Train goes right behind the campground, be warned!
This is really an under developed campground. There are only about a dozen campsites even though there is room for at least 3 times that many. The views of the river are great and my boys loved the trains going right by the camper. But just be warned that you will be woken up a couple of times a night due to them. But the rest of the pros greatly outweigh the cons.

You can drive a short distance to the river for some boat watching. Everything is very well cared for. Lots of Civil War history on site. I'd recommend that you pass on buying the internet service. Columbus has plenty of areas to have a cookout, an abundance of trails to explore, a ton of scenery for your eyes to enjoy, history woven into it's fabric which is narrated to you by way of signs and a museum(which cost a very reasonable fee to explore), a beautiful campground, a pleasant little food shack with reasonable food prices( hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, sodas and more on menu), and cute mini Golf course!( also a reasonable fee). The staff we ran into were very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to journey back

This campground was essentially an RV park. Only big rigs, some sites well spaced physically but no privacy in between so feels like everyone staring at each other. Some of the waterfront sites okay privacy-wise, but not most. Hookups work well, but bathrooms in terrible condition - especially showers.
The whole place also smells like dead fish. We saw a raccoon go right through our campsite so be careful what you leave out, also tons of geese and saw two baby copperheads.
The lake is at least really pretty and there’s a small beach area.

TravelerYears ago this was my families favorite place to camp. After. Many years things just weren’t what they used to be. THINGS HAVE CHANGED! I LOVED IT! It’s perfect again. So clean, great people. It’s not your typical (packed in like sardines) rv park by any means. It’s far from that. It’s peaceful and the views are amazing. 10/10 recommend AGAIN. TENT, rv, pop up it’s great for any kind of camping.
