**Wine Trail Wilderness is located in the beautiful Shawnee National Forest, between two wineries on the Shawnee Wine Trail. You can camp out, and truly connect with nature, but still have amenities such as a fire-ring with a grill, a privy or outhouse, along with firewood and 5 gallons of the best ice water you've ever tasted. Those seeking electric sites, we have only (3) three 30Amp hook-ups. We love sharing our natural area with folks who enjoy true camping and connecting with the outdoors. If you're looking for a place to camp and explore the Shawnee Wine Trail, you've found the spot! **

Campers must check in at 2010 Hickory Ridge Road in Pomona, Illinois after sharing with us your arrival date and time. We will lead you to your campsite, and provide you with your 5 gallons of ice water, firewood, and answer any questions you may have.

Great sites, daily visits including supplies needed etc.

This is peaceful! Surrounded by wineries, hiking places, historic sites, close to town for dining out, visiting for special events. Whatever you may schedule. Owner is personable, fun and very knowledgeable of the area hiking and places to see.
