I stayed for 3 months, the place was lovely. But there is something very important to me I have a very docile golden retriever poodle. While I was there there was many pitbulls without muzzle witnessed a pitbull get loose from its owner and attacked two small dogs the dogs had to go to the veterinarian hospital I had to take my dog and pick him up and run and hide this happened right in front of me it was horrible. I don't know the fate of the other dogs but one couldn't walk. The man that was walking the Pitbull lost control of it because the Pitbull wanted to attack the other dogs in the park he slipped right out of his collar. I believe they shouldn't allow aggressive breeds and if they do they should be muzzled until then I would never come back here I love my dog I can't imagine the situation if it would have been my dog it scares me just the thought

We sold our house in West Palm Beach and relocated to Vero Beach for work, choosing to stay in our RV at this park while awaiting our new home to be built. Initially, we were excited, but the management at this park turned out to be a nightmare. Despite the reasonable and straightforward rules, we faced constant harassment. We have two dogs that we walk multiple times a day. There are no trash cans or doggy bags on the property except in the dog park, so we took the initiative to buy an outdoor trash can and a bulk supply of dog waste bags to ensure we cleaned up after our pets. Yet, we received weekly notices accusing us of not cleaning up after our dogs. Each time I went to the main office to discuss these notices, I was told to“just ignore it” as it was likely a“pesty neighbor.” Additionally, when family visited us for the day and parked at our RV slot, we received notices about parking violations. After discussing this with the office, we were advised to have our visitors park in the lot by the restaurant, which we did. Despite this, we continued to receive notices for various infractions, such as improper water hookup and not stopping completely in the neighborhood. This felt like borderline harassment. As responsible adults who strive to follow regulations, we were perplexed and frustrated by these continuous and unfounded accusations. Each time we sought clarification from the office, they dismissed our concerns, blaming"nosey neighbors" and suggesting neighborly disputes were at play. Ultimately, we were given a 30-day notice to vacate the property. This experience is particularly disappointing because we had suggested this park for our upcoming family reunion, which would have brought 47 rentals for a week. Now, I can't wait to leave this place. For anyone considering a short-term stay, this park may suffice. However, I strongly advise against bringing pets unless you want to be harassed and falsely accused. For those seeking a long-term rental, avoid this park at all costs, as you will face weekly harassment. Furthermore, we had several packages confirmed as delivered to the“receptionist/front desk,” which mysteriously went missing, apparently mishandled by the staff. Our initial excitement to be part of the Road Runner community has completely dissipated. I am eager to leave and will never return. I do not recommend this park and will be warning others. 0/10.---

Well maintained facilities and friendly rangers on-site. Numerous hiking trails with open Prarie landscape. Very limited light pollution at night so great Location to star gaze.
Legend4 miles down washboard sand/gravel road will beat your truck and trailer to death. And the sites are small!! 18’ trailer in site #6 and had to unhitch the tow vehicle as it was sticking in the road. Barely fit 22’ trailer and tow vehicle in site #1 without unhitching. That aside, it is a beautiful quiet spot that is excellent for star gazing. Bath house is clean and lots of hot water. If you are car camping or tent camping or have a camper van, this might be a good spot for you. It is a dark zone, so no lights after dark - use red lights.

Sebastian Inlet State Park near Melbourne, FL. We stayed for stopovers on way down and back from Miami area. Most campsites do not have water views but are just a short stroll away. Most sites have limited privacy but some have more vegetation buffer. The campgrounds were quiet, clean and pleasant. With a Northern and Southern section, this park offers several access points to the ocean beach, the inlet itself and the River. We were delighted to stroll the long beaches and watch the surfers, watch fishermen in the river in the morning and evening, and watch the many pelicans feeding from the bridge structure over the river. The swimming area behind the jetty on the north side creates an almost man-made tide pool which is perfect for swimming and for younger children to play in the shallows without waves or currents. We hope we can get reservations again!

Tons to do on property including little stores, bbq restaurant, pizza, ice cream etc. Horseback riding, petting zoo, rock climbing. BUT, my only complaint is the noise level of the area. Lots of boat noise, gas golf carts (big property) & it just happened that my neighbors loved their gas blowers & pressure washing lol. Lots of great sites to choose from. Nice staff. Pet friendly.
TravelerThis is an amazing campground. We stayed in the Astrological Pad so we can see the stars and oh my.. you can see them all!!!! Bring your telescope. The hiking trails are great! Saw alot of Deer, boar and turkeys around the grounds. I did not see any on the trails but that was ok. The campgrounds are clean and bathrooms are easily accessible. Most of the camp is red light only at night so please bring red light flashlights.

GuideWe called Vero Beach Camp the morning of our stay and they welcomed our reservation for 1 night. Beautiful shaded campground, nice swimming pool, clean and quiet. We will definitely come back. The rocket launch was scrubbed so we will try again!

Really enjoyed this spacious park. Great biking, easy access to boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding.  close to beaches and shopping so there’s something for everybody to do. 
TravelerWe discovered this place on a vacation trip to see a friend on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce FL. We are now camping here seasonally in a 35 ft Class A RV. There's a large pool, a good-sized general / convenience store with all the essentials you might need, and a full restaurant right on site. The RV sites vary in size and set-up, most are level, most have a concrete patio. most have full hook-ups. There are also a number of "villas" (short, single-wide manufactured homes) that people either rent for an extended stay, or own, interspersed throughout the park. Many people live here year-round, and even more live here for three or six months during winter. There are 3 rustic cabins and a few spaces for tents. While this is billed as a "family" resort, most of the longer-term campers are retired, or "digital nomads" that work remotely. There are a few families with kids, and a few people like us who don't have children but are younger than retirement age. It's a good mix. There are adult activities - Bingo, karaoke, jam sessions, trivia night, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, Pentaque, cornhole, basketball, crafts (for adults), and more. Short stays are not cheap, but longer stays are pretty affordable considering the great pool and all there is to do. Oh, there are fireplaces at the premium pull-through sites, fires are allowed on regular sites only in a raised, enclosed firepit. There is also community firepit. We love it here.

GuideWe stayed in one of the electrical sights along the river. We made use of the fire pit and enjoyed the sunset. The other guests were friendly and we saw a bunch of dogs around.
The property manager was highly responsive when we requested the gate code via email. The gate closes at 7:30 pm but with the code there is no issue.
We did not visit the on-site bathrooms nor did we use the dish cleaning station.
The glamping tents were just that - a tent built onto a platform.
We truly enjoyed our peaceful visit to the park and highly recommend staying along the water.

This KOA is the best one we’ve ever stayed at. It’s an actual resort with a golf course in the middle. You get all the same amenities at a usual KOA with bonus ones like poolside food delivery, golf tee times, tennis and pickle ball tournaments, bingo nights etc. Obviously it’s mostly older senior people but they are super pleasant!! Only downside is that while the park is dog friendly, it’s a bit tough to walk the dogs since there aren’t really any paths so you need to walk on the road with golf carts, cars and other people walking dogs so can be a bit tough. Otherwise, absolutely too notch! They are also the first KOA where the K9 park was actually clean, no poop!
GuideSuch a beautiful park! We were greeted by deer, and turkey as soon as we drove in. The staff were all very helpful, and kind, and the premises were beautifully maintained. We stayed on the family side, and there wasn’t as much privacy between the sites as I would’ve liked, but it was still very quiet. The nights sky alone, was definitely worth the visit, the Milky Way stole the show amongst the spectacle of shooting stars and meteors

GuideSuch a beautiful park! Many full timers. They book for next winter beginning in March every year. Simple sites, paved sites, sites with tables, concrete pads, cabins, group sites, communal fire places. This park has it all. Did I mention the store, restaurant, bingo nights, swimming pool, shuffleboard, pickle ball all courts, and karaoke nights?

There is alot to do here, stayed at site 347. It's costly but it worth it. Have to watch out for the mosquitoes so bring a lot of bug spray.

GuideWe had a wonderful time staying on our site specifically - there is a line of palms & bush separating the tent area from the parking area, so it felt more remote than it was. There is also such a lovely variety of birds to hear throughout the day, and loved setting up our Eno in the morning for coffee! Unfortunately it was cloudy during the night of our stay, but I would honestly still go back in the same conditions. Definitely check the weather before booking your stay though, because seeing the stars would have been the cherry on top. :)

TravelerIf you are wanting the outdoors style camping, not here. This is more of a resort then campground. Great staff, many amenities, and overall a good stay. Should have looked into it more as this is more of an RV park, and less of a true campgrounds.
LegendThis was the first time we have ever bailed on a campground and we did it even though we knew finding an alternative was a long shot.
The campground overall seemed ok, but they insisted on trying to cram us into one of three spots that weren't really campsites, just pieces of grass between other sites.
Actual campsites had gravel pads, picnic tables etc., as one would expect. Treating Class B RV owners as second class citizens who can just take it or leave it when the site is unacceptable and still expect us to pay full price is a terrible business practice.
We were able to get our balance refunded (because we bailed within the 1-hour deadline) but we assume our $250 deposit won't be seen again. The person working the desk said it's unlikely we'll receive it because we were a last minute cancellation. No, we didn't cancel. We refused to spend a month camped in the side yard of another camper who had a real campsite to stay in!
We'd give this place 1 star but were generous and gave it 2 in case folks traveling with a larger rig are interested. It seems the normal sites they put those rigs in were fine overall. But beware and be prepared with a backup plan!

GuideMy family and I stayed here for a little over a week and wish we could stay longer. We stayed in a lot on the water and on a lot by the woods. The lots were beautiful, spacious and private. There’s lots to do around the property and the rodeo is a blast. The only fault was there weren’t many signs or direction on how to do things, when things were open, costs, and things like that. Also be prepared to spend more money, I would say a golf cart is a must!
