Best Campgrounds near Silver Springs, FL

Small campground with limited sites. Sites are close together but waterfront sites have extended area behind the site. Weekends and holidays are busy. Be careful when backing into the site since the exterior sites have significant slope to the parking pad. Electric and water service is 10 feet beyond the pad. Clean bathrooms are a quick walk away. No Verizon cellular service. Family and pet friendly.

Good spot for free. Clean showers/ toilet building. Pavilions and grills by the river.

Simple but has all hookups and camp host are the sweetest! Perfect spot to 30A & Destin

Easy to get to from the highway, clean, nice people. I did not use the restrooms or the laundry facilities. The view was nice!

Stayed for a week and while not on the beach is quiet and close to the items we wanted to go to. Fishing from their bridge is permitted. Flat concrete spots with picnic tables. Laundry service. Full hookups. 20 min drive to the beach and had a blast. Ants were bad. And we were heavily warned about not letting kids be out unsupervised even to walk the dog.

We were going to stay 3 nights, but after one night left. The noise from a nearby wood plant is unbearable.

A wonderful January camping trip ! It was about 45° but we stayed cozy by the fire pit . Our site was super close to the water , less than 100 yards! We had a picnic table too, perfect for meals outdoors. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer!

Single loop campground mostly RVs most of the site right next to the lake quiet, peaceful, amazing simple getaway. Half mile trail around the lake to the north campground on the other side of the lake. Both campgrounds are very similar.

Note - I drive a 20’ van - so non level is ok for me but these sites were not level - but I spent 2 nights sat/sun - and it was gorgeous especially for sunrise. Wish I could have stayed longer but I didn’t want to get stuck there in the rain - it was about 5 miles of dirt roads to get in there and they were well maintained but I didn’t want to risk it.

There are 2 hiking trails - more like atv trails that go to either side of the lake from the campground. You can go further into the forest but it was deer hunting season so I didn’t explore.

It was so peaceful and the sunrises over the lake were breathtaking.

$5 a day and there is a QR code on the board to pay, or you can by an annual pass for $40 if you plan on staying at least 9 days it’s worth it. It doesn’t hold your place on the form unless you create an account which is why the dyrt link doesn’t work.

Overall if I’m passing through again I would go back.

Also appreciated the free trash cleanup, clean porta potties and picnic tables. No fire rings really but you can tell where people burn campfires.

It’s a well maintained park and you can tell a lot of love has gone into it. Even had a ranger come through!

This is an excellent RV site to stop. Its extremely clean, and well kept. We have visited numerous times, since my grandson lives near my, this has become our homebase in Pensicola.

Great place. Has laundry, showers. Pool and table tennis in same room as laundry. Snack machine. Cabins. Unfortunately we arrived late and left early so we didn't get to use all the facilities. Wifi was pretty good.

Beautiful park to camp next to the lake with 2 fishing docks. No bathrooms just port a potty. The camping price is $2 per night, no reservation is needed, and is online payment.

Beautiful view of the lake & spacious sites. Make sure you take supplies, groceries trip is 20-30 minutes

Our trip to St Andrew’s state park was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene so we had to make last minute change. We found them and they were only to blocks to the beach. Great location with restaurants and with access to to beach w/public restrooms right there. Also there is public parking as well at beach. Pads are all concrete and they help you park. Great little RV park. Beach was great.
