Beautiful Campground

Our favorite so far. These sites are beautiful! Concert pads and large grassy areas on each one Most had shade trees. Only 27 sites. The bathhouse was always clean. Ranger Arron was very nice and helpful! Alot of jeepers camp here. Lots of clay roads to ride on. We'll definitely go back!

Overall, very nice. Each site is well kept with water & electric. Sites include a cement slab for parking, picnic table and fire pit. Warning!!!! Do not park any vehicle on the grass (not even part of your tire!) The campground host will ask you to move your vehicle / trailer and inform the…

Perfect Launching Point for Ichetucknee Springs & River

If you are looking for a great quality campground as near as you can get to Ichetucknee Springs, then look no further. Located just a 5 minute drive from the northern gate of Ichetucknee State Park, this campground ticks a lot of boxes in addition to its proximity to this wet adventure.

Arriving…

Grateful hammock

This place is so wonderful, I'm never leaving!! Honestly, I am the host so I may be a bit bias. 😃 We have lots of fun out here, especially in the Fall, Winter and Spring. If you are true champions like us and can handle the Florida bugs and heat then the summer is fabulous here too.

Rainbow Springs and Nature

I have been to quite a few campgrounds in Florida over the past 20+ years. Rainbow Springs Campground stands out as one of the top 5 I have returned to for different adventures and discoveries nearby. The spring head and remnants of the old nature / animal park with paths, plants, animals and…

Clean campground with a lot of freedom and a pool

Minuses:

  • This campground is not well organized - we came at 4pm, office was already closed, we called customer service and they never came back to us.
  • You need to find a spot on your own.
  • A lot of country people live there on a permanent basis. If you have any problems with hard-core…

If the springs are closed, it is sad

So apparently every so often the Sante Fe river floods out this spring with no warning. We checked the website the morning we left all was well. By the time we drove 2.5 hours to get there it was brown and murky and unusable. Sadly the spring is the only reason to camp there and with no warning…

SO close to the spring

The proximity to the spring is what did it for me! We stayed in site 1 and it could see the spring from our RV. The staff was friendly and the park host was so full of information. In all, we enjoyed the stay. One note: site 1 in particular requires a looooooong hose. The hookups are all over the…

Affordable camp site

Sadly we are only staying one night. Staff is friendly. Very affordable. Full hook up. WiFi cable. 27$ Laundry. Pets welcome. No amenities like pool or club house but you can’t beat the price. Clean also.

Great place, but make sure to check weather first

We loved camping here, but the hurricane caused the springs to flood and they were unswimmable muddy brown. And it was 98 degrees outside. Beautiful place, but make sure the springs are open before you go!!! Especially if it’s hot 🥵!
