Cozy cabins

Such a nice campground! The indoor pool is so amazing except for the overwhelming chlorine smell and vapors. We stayed in one of the cabins and felt right at home. It was a really nice change from sleeping in a tent. It was fun hiking the trails and paddling out to the Suwannee River. The springs were flooded at the time so we weren't able to enjoy a swim but the paddle out to the river made up for it. I'd definitely stay here again.

Decent for price HEATED pool a plus!

We ended up here after our first stop in Georgias heated pool broke. Heated pool here is great! Old facilities and shower houses but at $25 a night with military discount couldn’t beat it. Beautiful spring head and nice nature hike to river. Will come back during summer and adventure more. All wooded campsites but had 50 amp hookup and sewer.

Good for daily use but not rv friendly and no privacy with very tight spots

We wanted to like this place based on pictures. Decided to tour the facility before actually staying there. The springs are ok but when water is low it's not really that nice. If into kayaking it has a nice launch site into the river. There is also a pool that can be enjoyed if you don't want the spring. They also have a nice kids playground and some minor hiking trails. As far as staying with an RV, we ended up cancelling after the tour. The sites are not well maintained and they are right next to each other with no buffer, in fact, most sites share common space. No privacy at all and very unlevel. This looks like a state park by the spring but the rv section looks like a trailer park. They just tore down trees and put all rv sites together like parking spaces. Overall, this place is nice to go for the day but as far as using it with an rv it just was not good at all. You're better off going down to Hart Springs.

Great Camping

Loved camping here. The pool was awesome and swimming in the springs was great too. I enjoyed kayaking on the springs and riding bikes. The hiking was great too.

Not RV Friendly

We did not have a good experience at this park. The compacted sand road to the sites was very uneven and trees were very close to the road. The RV site was extremely small, our porch was shared with our neighbor and the driver side of our RV was 4 inches from our other neighbor.

This park caters towards locals in campers and we felt shunned while we were here. We opted to leave after 1 sleepless night (they did not enforce quiet hours) and forfeited the remainder of our week. At least it was a donation to Veterans.

Nice family Friendly Park

Located in the town of Trenton, Florida is this gem of a spot loved by the locals and tourists alike. They offer Lodge Rentals, RV Sites, Tent Camping & Cabins, Heated Pool & Great access to Otter Springs and the Suwannee River. There is a day use area, canoe & kayak rentals, basketball and volleyball court, and canoe rentals available. You can fish in the spring run or on the Suwannee River. We chose to camp in site with water and electric so we were in an RV spot but they have a designated tent camping area with water access and no electric.

We enjoyed exploring the over 600 acres, river, springs, nature trails and loved getting ice cream in the store after! The camp store has just about all you might run out of. Be prepared with insect repellent at dawn and dusk. Sites are spacious enough - not too close together but not much privacy either. If you do not like noise choose a sight away from the pool! RV sites have Full hookup: Electric (30& 50 amp.), water, and sewer. Good Sams memberships are accepted.

This is a great place to host a local event and they are VERY Veteran Friendly offering 15% off on daily and weekly camping. There is Wifi is available in the Pool Pavilion.

Though this place is not brand new and shows some age, it has a wonderful, welcoming feeling. We really enjoyed our stay!

Large, Shaded, & Laid Back

The campground was large and shaded. the kids loved the playground and pool. It was still to cool to enjoy the spring when we camped but it was nice to walk around and explore. The bath house wasn't that great they were building something on to it while we were there, but not sure what. Hopefully, they were working on revamping them.

Over all a nice get away.

A Hidden Spring

Otter Springs Campground is off the beaten path, but is a very pleasant place for relaxing and a little spring dipping. There is a pool with showers and several playgrounds near the campsites. Mostly for RVs, however there are some very nice tent sites. The campground backs up to an amazing field for stargazing. The Suwannee River can be hiked to! Otter Springs itself has developed some eutrophication but it is still very nice for swimming.

Too rowdy!

I stayed here one night at a tent site. Generally I enjoyed the layout and scenery, I was also reasonably spaced out from my neighbors. I was unfortunately right next to the pool. All day I heard screaming kids, after dark is was screaming young adults until 10:00. For me, it was not the experience of quiet exclusion I am lookin for when camping.

The restroom facilities were old and shabby, but I could see that they did attempt to keep them clean.

Shady campground with tons of amenities

I didn’t actually stay overnight here, but biked over from the nearby Hart Springs campground. Nice facility with fully shaded spots among Florida forest. There were a number of unmarked buildings, but upon researching it looks like a covered pool and clubhouse. The spring swimming area was lovely and clear and no crowds. Seems like a nice place to stay for a fun, activity filled getaway.

I didn’t stay here just drove through

I can’t say too much about this campground because I didn’t stay here. We say the sign and wanted to check it out so we just talked to the nice people in the office and they told us to take our time. The campground looked like nice decent size sites. They have 5 cabins available. A cute playground, volleyball area and a covered, screened in pool. The spring wasn’t anything amazing but definitely a way to cool off here in the Florida heat. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Very Nice Place!

We stayed over Easter weekend and had a great time! Our camp host was awesome and we did late check in a he helped us pull through verses backing into our spot. Spots are clean and camp was clean. The covered/indoor pool was awesome and the springs were too. I would recommend this place and will be going again!
