Half a mile west of downtown Chiefland, Strawberry Fields for RV'ers sits on open terrain with paved sites and full hookups for RVs. The privately-owned campground operates on flat ground with minimal shade, making it well-suited for solar setups and satellite reception.
Sites feature electric, water, and sewer connections on mostly level asphalt pads. The campground includes a large pavilion for group activities, an air-conditioned game room, and library facilities. Owners live on-site and maintain spotless restrooms and laundry facilities, though laundry costs run higher than some parks. Well-lit pathways make evening walks comfortable throughout the property.
The campground continues expanding with plans for additional back-in grass sites for those preferring alternatives to pull-through asphalt spots. Pickleball courts are under construction, with future plans for a pool. Amber H. notes "Facilities are up to date and clean" but mentions the lack of shade trees. Campfires are not permitted on the property.
The location provides easy access to Manatee Springs State Park and Cedar Key, with a bike path nearby for cycling. For those exploring the broader region, campgrounds near Chiefland offer additional options. Sites lack picnic tables, so bringing portable furniture enhances the camping experience.

Strawberry Fields for RV'ERS opened for business on March 14th 2019. We have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people from all over the map. We invite you to relax in this quite and beautiful town of Chiefland Florida. Strawberry Fields is only minutes away from Cedar Key, Manatee Springs and so many other outdoor activities. You will be wowed by the "Bidet Chalet" (bath house) and the colorful laundry facility. There is also a golf driving range for those golf lovers.
Reservation Info
We are BIG RIG friendly and accept self contained RV units. All spots in phase 1 and 2 are 75' x 35' pull throughs and have full service hook-ups, 30/50 amp services, paved sites and free Wifi. If you would like to make a reservation please call us at 352-507-7035.
