Quaint, amazing RV park!

I loved it here so much, I extended my stay by 2 weeks. The owners were so helpful in whatever I needed, they set up spots on the river to enjoy the water without having a spot on the water.. you can tell they love what they do. Absolutely on my list for when I come back in FL!

Great place

This is our second time here ,we love the people and the view, we like that it's mostly rvers not alot of full-time residents.A lot of the sites are right on the water as the whole park is surrounded by the Suwanee river.

We’ve stayed here twice

We stayed here in April of 2021. Our stay was originally scheduled for 2 weeks, but we ended up adding 2 more weeks in May. April was full of snowbirds, but it cleared out quite a bit on the first. We ended up returning in early July for 2 more weeks. July was buggy and wet, but that’s life in that area.

Restaurant choices are limited in the area, and the nearby towns are mostly run down. After 6 weeks, we probably won’t be back for awhile, but it’s not because of the campground. The place is great.

They have a nice dog park, and are extremely dog friendly. There weren’t many kids for our son to play with though. We had hoped for more kids while school was out, but no luck.

If you get a spot in the 20s down near the Belle, you’ll hear music on weekend evenings. They close early, and it’s not too loud, so it won’t disturb your nights.

WiFi is sketchy at best, and cell service wasn’t great, but it’s there.

Great first time RV experience

My wife and I just purchased a travel trailer and set out on our first adventure.  We found the Suwannee River Bend RV Park on this app and gave them a call.  They picked up right away and confirmed they had a spot for us.  We were going to arrive after the office closed so they said they'd look out for us.  We were greeted right away and led to our spot.  It was a nice spot with a view of the river.  There was a boat dock and I could see fish jumping in the water.  The WiFi is acceptable and the shower area was clean.  Overall this has been a great first experience.

Wonderful hosts, nice park

lots of trees, has waterfront for fishing or just relaxing, laundry room but no pool. I requested a pull thru site but for some reason didn’t get one tho there were plenty empty pull thrus. I didn’t use the bathhouse but based on how the test of the place is kept, I’m sure they’re clean. A grocery store is just a couple miles away or there’s a WalMart in Chiefland, about 15 minutes south. a good location to hit the springs, Cedar Key and other area attractions. The camp hosts Chris & John are wonderful folks.
