With reservations available and rates from $30-40 per night, Oso Grande-Mesa view campsites provides established camping with electric hookups and full amenities including showers, WiFi, and drinking water. The forested campground sits near creek and river access, though campers should expect rough road conditions reaching the sites.
Both drive-in and walk-in sites accommodate RVs with electrical connections, while picnic tables and campfire rings come standard. Pets are welcome throughout the property. For a different experience, Red Tail R&R offers an alternative less than a mile south.

Traditional, ancestral territory of (Ute) First Nations Native Americans according to Native Land Digital.
The property includes beautiful views of the surrounding Bookcliffs of the valley, the scenic Grand Mesa and has a dry creek running through it. It is just a short hike to access views of the Gunnison River and BLM. A very short drive to the boat ramp and great hiking and ATV trails nearby. Propane fire pits at camp sites. The stars are available for viewing most nights of the year and STUNNING.
The sites have great views of the surrounding area. There is a picnic table with a grill including a cool teepee. We have fruit trees of 4 varieties growing nearby with grapes growing on the property. Around the property you are likely to see antelope roaming around. Also several varieties of lizards and other small animals.
