Not bad for a few days

Campground is easy to get in and out of. 43' plus toad was no problem in and out if site. Also easy access to the water and boat ramp. It also had great views. Wind was not too bad for us but that meant lots of very hungry mosquitos so pack up on deet (was still attacked after spraying the…

Fishing trip with dad

My dad and I spent a week at deerhammer campground to fish. This is a favorite spot that my dad and son came to over the years. The fishing was good but compared to previous years the river and reservoir were really low. It was unusually hot. We made reservations six months in advance but still had…

Full...just like all others

We got the last site. #7 is terrible and cramped right between others far too close.

More Tent / Walk-In Camping

The stream is nice, camping area is pretty small, maybe 3-4 tent sites. Drive in camping site is rutted and I didn’t feel comfortable driving van up into it. There were a few minor red flags; a large tent was set up in the back of the site, however no one ever showed up to occupy. Also a mule deer…

  • Camp access, too rutted for my van
  • Nice stream; some sites are not 100’ away.

Convenient & clean

We needed a hot shower and some comfort and found both here. It’s a bit pricey but has all the hookups which we don’t need. We had wifi but a weak signal and not secure. Bath house was clean and pleasant. It’s on a hillside above the river and highway. Sheltered from wind and extreme heat.

Camped during very hot weather. No shade!

We camped during very hot weather. Our campsite, like many others had minimal to no shade. The river is beautiful. Camp is clean, hosts very present

Secluded little campground

The Reudi reservoir is a beautiful area. Sunsets are gorgeous and there is a nice hike outside of one of the other two campgrounds in the area. I feel this little campground is the most secluded of the 4 in the area. However, not all sites offer reservoir views. Reservoir is very low this year.…

Not a bad place

We had a tent space right next to the river. Beautiful spot. But the train goes by 2 or 3 times a night. The bathrooms/showers are some of the cleanest campsite bathrooms I've seen. The host/employee(?)was fairly rude, said we had to park our trailer on the road outside the property....yeah…

Short Distance from Metro Area - Amazing Views and Water!

This is only about 90 mins from the front range and it’s amazing!

The views from most of the sites are phenomenal! And most sites have lake front views.

The beach is surprisingly not over crowded despite it being a full campsite.

The camp sites where a bit tight and open but that’s probably…

Weekday camping trip

Stayed at E80, limited shade, though cool views of the white caps! All sites seem dusty, that is true of this one. Walk about 5 minutes through the sites and you reach the water through the D loop. Could only really notice I70 at night but it was not bothersome at all. Bathrooms clean. Firewood…

Gates not open as of memorial weekend

Drove a long ways to find out the gate isn’t open like prior post of members and will not open until June 15 on the steamboat side as posted at gate. We drove to the east side from Walden to find out you can’t even make it to the gate as the road has way too much snow cover yet even with a 4 wheel…

  • dispersed camp
  • this is the start of the snow almost 2 miles from the East gate. 3-5 ft deep beyond this
  • east side to Buffalo pass
Sitewe found a spot on the east entrance going up to Buffalo pass . plenty of dispersed spots with great views

Fun for the kids, friendly staff

From the moment we came the staff were very friendly. The kids enjoyed the playground and I enjoyed the mini golf. Water and power worked well, cable tv seemed to have issues but I may have had a bad cable. There's enough room between sites on the river side.

Who the Hell is Adam?

I agree with the first reviewer Steve, I don't know why this is labeled Adam Campground. My wife and I first camped here in 2018 in our roof-top tent while doing a mountain bike race in nearby Eagle.

Access: The road from Eagle all the way past Sylvan Lake is well maintained and normal…

Beautiful, Secluded, Clean.

There's fresh Sage plants for miles, the Colorado River runs right by it and is great for fishing, the campgrounds have plenty of parking for boat trailers, RVs, and cars. The restrooms are clean and stocked well with paper, and the view is just amazing to wake up to. Very cheap to camp, too.
