Wooded!

This campground is truly in the woods. Most sites are very shady and spacious. A few are smaller, like mine, but we enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located near everything you could want including a Walmart, the beach, and redwood forest. Full hook ups available. Bathrooms and showers are clean. 2…

Louder than my house in a city

Wow is this campsite crowded. There is not a lick of privacy between even the tent sites. The picture attached shows our firepit and how close the neighbor is to us. There are strange intentional openings between all the sites as well that makes it even less private. Loud, loud, loud. From the…

Amongst the trees

We were having difficulties finding a campground that wasn't full at the beginning of the 4th of July weekend. We ended up here and the staff were incredibly nice. There were reservations beginning the next day and the staff let us stay in one for the night. There was plenty of privacy, hook-ups…

Beautiful little campground next to lagoon

First come first served, we managed to grab the last of a few sites on a Wednesday afternoon. We had a view of the lagoon and enjoyed playing in the water. We hiked over to the ocean as well. As the signs said, though, the beach was very dangerous due to the steepness of the beach, etc. See sign in…

Wonderful staff, nice stay for the night

We were travelling up the coast into the night and not finding somewhere to tent camp when we stopped here. There was a sign that said not to camp without registering but the office was closed. A nice couple gave us the wifi password and we called the number on the sign. They were very helpful and…

Wow

Randomly stopped in this area to take a breather from driving and to put an eyeball on the beach. Ended up creeping into the first come first serve area and decided to stay the night. Amazing beach just a few minutes from the campground. 10/10 would recommend

Has potential

There is absolutely no signage and very confusing trying to find our spot. The facility is beautiful with sites tucked into the trees and overall well maintained. There are a ton of long term campers in really prime spots. Overall okay and in a good location. 3 stars for the price and difficulty…

Beautiful Redwoods

We came in late and all the surrounding campgrounds were full. There were plenty of spaces to choose from at this park. The sites are nestled under beautiful redwood trees and there are great hiking  trails throughout the grounds. It has a big playground  for the youngsters. There is only one…

My husband and I were taking a trip up the west coast camping a long the way as our last trip together before our son was born! We absolutely loved Kamp Klamath! It’s location is just perfect! We hiked a lot of trails in the area which were beautiful!

We wish it was closer to us so we could go…

Neat little park!

We changed our plans at the last minute after hearing that there are redwoods in this part of the state. So glad we did! Nicely laid out park with plenty of vegetation between sites affording privacy. Very nice staff! The road to the park doesn’t get a lot of traffic, so not too noisy. Our site,…

The hosts were the nicest people!

When we arrived we had a tent spot reserved for our Sprinter van, however the spot was a little too small. The hosts were very kind and took us around the site to find a suitable location. There were spots with full hookups but we didn't require them. Our spot was quiet and private. The bathrooms…

Right in the trees!

Our stay at this KOA was last minute. We had planned on driving further south but wildfire smoke prevented us from continuing. The cabin we stayed in was nestled right in the redwoods! Showers and bathrooms were clean. Very nice camp hosts!

I deducted a star because we were told that due to the…
