Sugar Pine Point Campground

USBR Gloryhole Rec Area Big Oak Campground

Lake Alpine camping at Pine Marten Campground is located in the Calveras Ranger District, at the east end of Lake Alpine Recreation Area in a timbered setting near several trailheads. Recreation Lake Alpine provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities: fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating, OHV trails, swimming, and wildlife watching. Interpretive programs are offered by Forest Service rangers during the summer months. Facilities Campsites with room for up to 6 people, 3 tents, and 2 vehicles per campsite. Picnic tables, campfire rings, toilets are available. Hot showers and laundromat available at nearby Lake Alpine Resort. No electricity or hook-ups. Pets are welcome. Firewood, camping and fishing supplies, food, and apparel is available in the general store at Lake Alpine Resort. Natural Features Pine Marten Campground sits at an elevation of 7,400 feet on the east end of Lake Alpine within the Stanislaus National Forest. The forest lies between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite and boasts gorgeous views. Squirrels, chipmunks, deer, marmots, coyotes, bears, eagles, and many different birds make this area their home. The wildflowers are also beautiful! Nearby Attractions A restaurant, bar, general store, and boat rentals can be found at nearby Lake Alpine Lodge. The immediate area is suited for forest and wilderness recreation. A short car ride away there is Grover Hot Springs, Mercer Caverns, Mountain Adventure Seminars, and the wine country of Calaveras County.

Pine Marten Campground

We have 155 acres of the beautiful Sierra foothills ready to be explored and enjoyed! We are about 10-15 minutes from downtown Murphys, just north of Fullen Rd. This is a working farm for our business, Blooms and Shrooms. We grow produce, mushrooms and cut flowers.

There are 2 different listings to choose from: The Soup Kitchen and 1 Pine. Please double check you’re picking the right listing because they are different areas and offer different experiences. The 1st area to park/camp is the “Soup Kitchen” near the flower garden where you can enjoy an outdoor shower, kitchen space and established fire pit (see pics of the Soup Kitchen). This area is down the driveway a couple hundred yards from where we usually are area so you can more or less be on your own, depending on if we have work to do down there or if there are other campers. We are happy to chat or leave you be, just let us know what your needs are. We do tend to be social and as an intention I would like to say that I would hope the people coming here are open and friendly and it would be cool if this was a place where campers could meet each other and maybe some new friendships could be made. If you’re looking for a more isolated spot, see the other listing for 1 Pine. “1 Pine” is accessed by our second driveway that is just down the road a hundred yards from the farm. The driveway is kind of rough but definitely manageable with a truck or SUV. The drive goes up a couple hundred yards to the hilltop (we call it “1 Pine” where there is some open space to park and there’s a trail that branches off that takes you along the ridge to another open space (2 Pines) that is only a few minutes walk down the trail. 2 Pine has great views of the sunset and is totally secluded and private and would be a good spot to either bring some friends for a little sunset party or for someone who wants to seriously unplug and chill on the ridge top.



Mighty Farms

Beautiful peak of canyon 20acre glamping ground in the heart of mokelumne hill. All day look down on red tail hawks soring the skies and all night watch shooting stars from your hot tub. This site is for adults 21 and older each room comes with a complementary bottle of one of our local wines. This canyon site has a hot tub under the stars all stainless steel outdoor kitchen and outdoor hot shower but best of all the view❤️

The space

This glampsite is in the middle of historical mokelumne hill. Here you can look off the canyon peak and see with your own eyes the water ways the miners used during the gold rush. It's a five minute drive to downtown mokelumne hill and 15 minute drive to downtown Jackson witch are both a antique shopper/collectors dream.

Guest access

Guests on rich gulch glamp site have access to approximately two acres of complete privacy on a cleared, rocked plateau with no immediate neighbors. All glamping sites are private unshared spaces with other glampers.

To all my fellow glampers our goal at rich gulch is to create awesome memories with friends,family and fur babies, please remember this campsite is 21 and older we love kids but there are no exceptions. We have a campsite host on site at all times for emergencies and not to worry your cell phone reception will be excellent for all your cute social media posts☺️

We have 824 acres on a beautiful ranch with two small ponds. On our property you'll find frogs, turtles, lots of oak trees, pine trees and stunning views of Yosemite. We're 30 miles from the main gate of Yosemite National Park and there’s a golf course less than a mile away. We're not far from town either -- in just a few minutes you can drive to our local grocery store and pizza parlor. When you come to the ranch it feels like you are hundreds of miles away from civilization and it's real quiet.

This is a great place for someone who wants to escape city life and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Much of the ranch is open wilderness for you to explore, and it's not uncommon to see deer, frogs, turtles, quail, turkeys, or the other countless species of birds. Diamond Gulch Camp is the perfect place to relax if you’re a photographer, artist, family or a group of friends looking for a place to camp near Yosemite. A small portion of the property was used as a gold mine years ago, and you may find remnants of old home sites if you go exploring. We're not far from Wards Ferry Road, Groveland, Lake Don Pedro and other interesting places.



Diamond Gulch

## Overview

Glory Hole Recreation Area is located at New Melones Lake on the Stanislaus River. The 12,500 surface-acre lake is the fourth largest reservoir in California and is situated along the edge of the Mother Lode, the rich gold vein that prompted the California Gold Rush of 1849. At an elevation of 1100 feet, the diverse and resource-abundant Foothill Oak Woodlands hug the 100 miles of shoreline. Popular activities on and around the large, yet uncrowded lake include fishing, boating, water skiing, wake boarding, jet skiing, sailing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picknicking. The New Melones Visitor Center offers year-round interpretive events and a museum highlighting natural and cultural resources.

## Recreation

Hiking, fishing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, boating, sailing and road and mountain biking are just a few of the activities available in Glory Hole Recreation Area. Camping is also permitted in designated campsites. Equestrian trails are also present in the Peoria Wildlife Mitigation Area and open for the general public. Other interesting sites include Natural Bridges, which can be accessed from Parrott's Ferry Road and has a nice hiking trail and a creek that flows through a marble cave. The Table Mountain Trail provides visitors an opportunity to hike to the top of an extensive lava flow which occurred over nine million years ago.

## Facilities

The campground provides modern amenities like flush toilets, showers and drinking water. Visitors will also find a full-service marina, boat launch, day-use areas, barbeque grills and a fish cleaning station. There is an amphitheater for Ranger programs and horseshoe pits in the Ironhorse campground. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided at each campsite.

Within a 10-minute drive you'll find numerous wineries like Tanis Vineyards, Ard Aven Winery, Rancho Victoria Vineyards and Drytown Cellars. Lake Camanche is nearby (30-minute drive) and offers excellent fishing, kayaking, and swimming. In Jackson and Sutter Creek you can experience some remarkable history and amazing restaurants.  There's also an old gold mine that you can visit - a perfect excursion for the kids. If you want to stop by our own Ione, you will find a little history in this old gold town as well. There's also a great golf course, Castle Oaks Golf Club, 7 miles away. We've got lots to explore that you'll want to take more than one trip. If you're looking for a more relaxed stay, we got you covered too. 

Our property is perfect to hike and sightsee; California Oaks line the hills for miles and miles.  The evenings are cool and tranquil, the only thing you'll see at night is the trees and the stars. Words can't describe it; you'll just have to experience it yourself. This place is special to us, on our 160-acre property you'll find gently rolling hills inhabited by free-range livestock and horses. We hope you enjoy your stay. We have three secluded campsites on our property.

CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

Or walk through the Petrified Forest, a forest that was turned to stone by the last eruption of the volcano. Or visit California’s Old Faithful, a nearby geyser.


Once you have found camping in California’s Half Dome in Yosemite Valley, center yourself in Tuolumne Meadows, a more remote section of the park with its own collection of charming granite domes. Here's a secret: Instead of joining the crowds of day hikers on the meadow's most popular trails, follow the backpackers north on the famed John Muir Trail. The trail meanders through meadows, along a river below alpine peaks. And best of all, the first 8 miles of this trail out of Tuolumne are flat. Hike until you find a spot to watch the marmots, then return to your campsite. For more, backpack another 23 miles to Reds Meadow where you can catch a shuttle back up to Tuolumne.

The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Other Things to Note:
Leave no trash behind. Don't cut firewood. We have firewood if you wish to purchase it. Fire pit MUST STAY on the gravel. Practice fire safety at all times. 

About the host: I don't live there but I have a RV on site and I go often and stay. I have cattle on the property. I have a ranch hand that lives there.

Tentrr Signature Site - Rancho Amador Site 1

Buffalo Hill also known as the Golden Mirage, was a creation by the late George Polk. His goal was to build a place to display his vast collection of Gold Rush treasures. He started with the Buffalo Saloon where he and his buddies played poker for 30 years. There are many interesting spaces to explore while visiting Buffalo Hill ,The Golden Mirage (camping cabin sleeps 4) the Pioneer cabin (sleeps 2) the jail cell (sleeps 1) there is a bank, a saddle repair shop and the blacksmiths shop. With 100 views of Mt. Diablo and more.
Our Wild West town has it all, a "Saloon" a cabin for the minors rest their weary bones Golden Mirage sleeps (4) , sleeping cabin for the wrangler to hang his hat "Pioneer sleeps(1) and a jail cell sleeps (1). There is plenty to explore just looking thru the tresures left behind. Including a sadle repair shop, bank, and a black smiths Athough it is not a 140 year old town the creator of it was a hystorian, antique collector and A Lewis and Clark enthusiast. His libraries are full of all his passions. The history experienced goes far beyond the 94 years that George lived. His goal was to make a town that felt as if it had been there 100 years. And he felt he did a good job.
The main house is what you first see as you pull in and second you notice the 100 mile view.

Ammenities include, Well water from a spigget, 2 outdoor dining tables, a grill compost toilet outhouse, and 2 outdoor tubs for a quick dip to cool off on a hot day.

There are a several locations where you can go to join in conversation and get to know the other campers.

The rustic camping cabins are decarated with relics. A King sized bed and pads on the bunks in the Golden miarge and a cot with a memory foam topper in the 2 other sleeping spaces. It is not glamping but a step up from tent camping with the full unplug, sometimes needed.
(there is a charging station available in the "saloon")



Buffalo Hill

This is a primitive camp spot. No amenities on location. Just a nice flat space for a tent.

Private property on 15 acres 1 mile from Lake Don Pedro. We have a goat farm that is all off grid with 360° views of the Sierra Mountains, Yosemite Valley and the Central Valley. Amazing sunsets and sunrise. We offer tent camping spots along with RV camping with no hookups. Very private and only 45 min from Yosemite National Park.

We are a goat farm and have a LGD (Large Guardian Dog) who watches over the goats. She does bark during the night keeping the predators away. Her name is Heron and she will more then likely be saying hi to all guests. She is a lover and friendly with all people.



Camp Joy

Do you want privacy? I'm talking about privacy where you can't even see other campers. Just nature all around you. Silence, crickets, so many stars in the open dark sky, and our amazing cliff views of the Stanislaus River! Take it all in.

We are only 15 minutes out of Oakdale CA but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere! Within 30 minutes of wineries, Gold Rush towns, rivers, lakes, casinos- so many experiences! Tranquility and adventure all in one.

Yosemite- we are right on the way (1.5 hrs East) and historic Knights Ferry with river access, covered bridge and museum (5 mins. West),

Three lakes(Tulloch, Don Pedro and New Melones) are within 30 minutes as well. We have so many destinations within an hour of our campground - a list is provided at each site.

There is an active wildlife population on our propterty as well, a whole family of deer are residents of the area, and cotton tail rabbits and hawks are abundant.
