Beautiful creek, quiet campground, hand pump for water, bald eagles, osprey, and a nice little hiking trail. It got freezing cold at night with our 30° bags. Creekside sites are in the back, but those across the road are still very close to the creek. I'd absolutely stay again but I'd bring an…

Upgraded to a camper this year! Site 23 was shorter than expected which upped the parking challenge but squeezed in okay. Had a great time - large area to spread gear out in, easy walk to semi-private cove on lake. AWESOME for birding - Bald Eagles 🦅, Pelicans, woodpeckers, chickadees & ravens…
Not bad. Did not realize it was $15 for dump until in the queue for a single side, single point dump site. Has water points for spraying out dump hose (👍🏻), spigot for connecting to black tank flush (👍🏻) and a fresh water spigot to fill your fresh tank (if you’re into filling fresh water tank…
Super friendly the second you drive in!! Escort you to your site and guide you in!! Ask if we need help setting up, deers roam around and so beautiful!! Garbage pick up as soon as you put it out… scenery is gorgeous!!
Nice campground with an on-site store, laundry, dog area and friendly campers!
I stayed here numerous times as a young kid and teen with my family. We lived in Susanville and would go here to get out of the town and feel closer to nature and experience it all. The sites are walk in so be ready to pack what you need with you. The wildlife possibilities seem endless and it's a…
WOW, this place is super nice. Kid friendly with activities and play areas. Pet park for off leash play! Clean and friendly staff! #1 park in our book!
We camp at Silver Lake every year. Absolutely beautiful place. Lake is a little walk from the campground. Primitive camping.
My wife and I stayed here before moving on to Lassen Volcanic NP. We stayed here on a Monday night (it was our honeymoon) so we were the only ones here. There was a really cool, fast flowing creek running through the campsite. Just a gorgeous spot in the forest with toilets if you need them.
This is one of several campground at Eagle Lake. The unique aspect of Aspen is it is set aside for Tent camping only. No RVs or cabovers are allowed here. It is set in shady pines just like the other campgrounds at the lake. All the usual amenities are here too. Picnic tables fire pits and nice…

The spot itself is nice, nestled near Willow Creek among aspen. The problem is it is so close to highway 139 you can hear every car go by. Also, they set a bathroom that acts as a rest stop right on the highway at the campground so essentially you are camping at a rest stop. For us that just…

Of all the campgrounds at Eagle Lake this is the least appealing. It sits quite far from the lake on a dry, dusty hill. There is one pit toilet bathroom and there is less shade with less trees. It does have the advantage of being very close to highway 139 and would be a good spot to stop for the…

One of several campgrounds at Eagle Lake this one sits up on a hill under the trees and is a little further from the water. Lots of pull through sites are nice. Camp host on site. Many tall pines provide shade.

Super nice staff!! They remembered us after only staying here twice which means they take pride in the care for their customers. We love that we can tent camp by the water!
Will definitely recommend to anyone!

One of several campgrounds at Eagle Lake. We like this one because there are several spots close to the water and in the sun. In the heat of the summer there are plenty of spots deep under the thick pine trees that shade the area. In the shoulder seasons it's nice to camp in a sunny spot or at…
