We are winter camped here for a couple of days on our way to Mexico… The Dyrt spotted this campground for us on our route and we are sooo glad… We will make this a destination in the future.
We booked this campsite as an overnight stay on our way to Southlake Tahoe from Eugene Oregon. The campsite is incredibly beautiful with views of Mount Shasta and several other mountain peaks from the edge of the campground. Dannelle and Ben were incredibly helpful during the reservation and check in process. There was a small glitch with our reservation, but Danelle fixed it quickly and showed us to our site, which was very nicely set up and ready for a great stay. We use the trails around the campsite a couple of times each day and had an absolutely fantastic time overall. We will certainly be back.
Owners are friendly and gave us a great spot! Each space is large and private. Facilities are clean. Quiet location and beautiful area. Highly recommend.
We were desperate for a campground on our trip. I found one spot here and booked it immediately hoping it was a nice campground. We were pleasantly surprised. The new owners are very friendly and helpful. The campground is quiet and clean. There are trails to explore and amazing views. Our favorite so far!
We spent two nights just passing through during COVID-19, and were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality offered to us. The campground was clean and had huge sites, most in wooded lots. The family who owns this campground are very friendly and made us feel like family. The campground is peaceful and relaxing. Wi-fi is available at the office area. Verizon on my phone at our site was weak. They plan to upgrade the WiFi to better accommodate visitors. Beautiful trails and a great view of Mt Shasta from on of them. Great campground.
Hidden in Modoc County in the Warner Mountains you'll find a few hidden gems. Not only is the Falls beautiful but the trek up to Clear Lake is breathtaking! Serene and tranquil. Worth the hike for those wanting to get in touch with Nature! Highly Recommend!
Confused? This lake must be seasonal because we could not find it while traveling around this campsite. There is a small marshy area and grass as if the lake is there at other times of the year. The campsites have very little privacy, but there are bathrooms, amenities, nice day-use area, pet exercise area, etc. This park is on the border of California near Lakeview… so while I did not necessary think it was worth the drive to go see this campground, the nearby town is a great little American escape for groceries, a great little Saturday Farmers Market, a nice cup of coffee, or just to explore.
There is a large group site. Restrooms and showers. RV hookups and a clean out station. Dog friendly but not very private. Almost no vegetation separating sites.
