    Beautiful spot and welcome hospitality!

We didn't stay at the park, but the cabins and RV area looked well kept and cozy. We are reviewing the kindness of the owner Jim, who we met when we had to stop by looking for gas when we mismanaged our gas amount and were still 30 miles out of Merrill. Jim welcomed us and filled our tank with an extra 5 gallon container he keeps for emergencies. He could have charged us an arm and a leg, but he only charged us the actual price of the gas approximately$5/gallon and was super helpful. The property looked very well maintained and I would recommend it to anyone road tripping with an RV or looking to stay at a cute cabin close to the lava beds, especially considering the kind hospitality. We hope this review pays forward the generosity we received from Jim during our encounter.

    Great campsite!

This campsite is nestled in the forest away from the highway. It has cabins, RV, and tent camping available. There is a new playground for children. When you stay, a free shower is included. The bathrooms are regular flushing toilets with showers in the room and outlets if you need to blowdry your hair. The attendant on the grounds is very nice and friendly. We arrived late (9pm) and she was able to assist us with getting settled. There is a small shop next to the office. You can also book your lot reservation online. I'll include a picture of the map of the area. For those tent camping, bring a tarp for your tent to sit on. It's a dirt, rock, and pine needles area. In the morning, you'll hear song birds.

    Peaceful countryside

We booked a stay here to unwind and see part of CA we had never explored. Pulled in and the owner himself came out to greet us with our welcome packet, never had to get out of the truck! The campground has a natural beauty. Marked trails to walk, often in shade. Owners are actively making improvements to increase enjoyment of their property. This is a real gem as far as RV parks go. Right what we wanted: peaceful break from city life! Good wifi too!

    Lassen RV Park Campground

    Beautiful Campground

We spent two nights just passing through during COVID-19, and were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality offered to us. The campground was clean and had huge sites, most in wooded lots. The family who owns this campground are very friendly and made us feel like family. The campground is peaceful and relaxing. Wi-fi is available at the office area. Verizon on my phone at our site was weak. They plan to upgrade the WiFi to better accommodate visitors. Beautiful trails and a great view of Mt Shasta from on of them. Great campground.

    Lassen RV Park Campground

    Absolutely Breathtaking

We booked this campsite as an overnight stay on our way to Southlake Tahoe from Eugene Oregon. The campsite is incredibly beautiful with views of Mount Shasta and several other mountain peaks from the edge of the campground. Dannelle and Ben were incredibly helpful during the reservation and check in process. There was a small glitch with our reservation, but Danelle fixed it quickly and showed us to our site, which was very nicely set up and ready for a great stay. We use the trails around the campsite a couple of times each day and had an absolutely fantastic time overall. We will certainly be back.

    Lassen RV Park Campground

    Most Charming RV Resort

We booked a quick one night stay here, passing through. We wish we had allowed more time! There were loads of walking trails, the pool looked very nice and they have beer on tap in the art garden during the weekend. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our kids loved all the the art throughout the property and the new rock pit they'd just finished installing! The sites were very spacious and had full hookups 👍
