Junipers Reservoir RV Resort

The sound of cattle moving across a working 6,000-acre ranch creates an unexpectedly rural soundtrack at this RV resort located 8 miles west of Lakeview. Campers reach the property via gravel road that winds through ranch land, arriving at 40 pull-through sites accommodating RVs up to 80 feet. All sites include electric and water hookups, with some offering sewer connections and a dump station available for those without.

Sites feature level parking with adequate shade and spacing that allows room for outdoor setups. The central lawn area provides space for volleyball, horseshoes, and cornhole, while walking trails extend across the property's acreage. A small lake offers fishing opportunities, and the high desert location provides clear night skies with minimal light pollution. "You drive down a gravel road right through a 6,000 acre working cattle ranch," explains Dean.

Facilities include clean bathrooms with warm showers, laundry services, and WiFi throughout the property. The campground operates seasonally from May through mid-October, with both short-term and some long-term residents. AT&T cell service reaches the area reliably. For additional regional options, campers can explore campsites near Lakeview or nearby Drews Creek 5.7 miles southwest.

Reservations help secure preferred sites during peak summer months, and the property welcomes pets with designated areas for exercise.

An Oasis

Off the highway in the high desert is an oasis of an RV Park. As you travel the dirt road, you may wonder. But when you get there, you come upon a very family orientated facility. With all the features you need to recharge and relax. Laundry facilities, showers, and of course, power and wifi. The great center lawn has room for all who stay. The hosts are eager to help and treated us like family. Great place!!

Great Middle of Nowhere Sopt

Very nice out of the way stop. Very friendly camp hosts and good directions in and out. Facilities are older but well maintained. Some full time residents, but lot’s of available spots when we stopped by early in the season. Shower, bathrooms, laundry, water and electrical hookups. Lot’s of acreage to wander and beautiful vistas in every direction. Good AT&T service and the park has Wi-Fi.

Beautiful

We stayed for a week and enjoyed very minute!

The camp host is incredibly nice, the walking trails are beautiful, and you can't beat the view.

The sites are large with plenty of shade and you can hear the cows. The bathrooms are clean with warm showers that work well.

There is a dog run, horseshoes, and a volleyball set up. You can't have a campfire, but they do have a fire pit near the laundry room plus propane grills for guests.

It's a little pricey, but worth it.

RV Park in the middle of a working ranch

You drive down a gravel road right through a 6,000 acre working cattle ranch. There are 40 pull through RV sites with electric, water, and some sites have sewer. There is a dump station. We were there during a Blue moon with no light pollution and it felt like you could grab it out of the sky. Was quite an unexpected find.
