Great location clean grounds

Stayed here twice, both times the stay was pleasurable. Staff Friendly. Back in bayside worth the extra dollars.

Good amenities

Group of 5 stayed in 2 tents (site 4) and had plenty of room. Had a picnic at the park area for lunch, rented a small motor boat for an hour for a quick lap around the lake (no swimming). Camp site was large, and bathrooms were clean. We encountered some bees at our site, only issue keeping it…

Nice spot, needs more details

There werent many details about the site I chose. The spot was mostly sloped and next to a dumpster with practically full sun, small shade by a tree. Bathrooms were clean and showers with 2min/token. Walking trails all around.

No Bueno

Didn't enjoy our time here. We stayed here for a few weeks in our pull behind trailer. It seemed very much so like a trailer park. There were some unique individuals there. We made friends with our neighbors and the park manager told us to end our evening (it was only 8pm). It wasn't a very…

Kumeyaay Lake Campground

Great simple campsite for a quick solo camp, very close to home so it’s nice just to pop in without having to plan out to much, but would advise making a reservation, nice clean bathrooms and showers, so many hiking / MTB trails in Mission Trails Regional Park so lots to do…it can get extremely hot…

Simple, pretty, well maintained county park

Stayed in space 10, a partial hookup with a view of the lake. They have full and partial hook up spaces and "primitive" tent only sites.

Partial hook up had water in camp and an electrical box with 2 kinds of shore power and a 2- 110 outlets for $29.

Ranger was nice, bathroom was clean, neighbors…

Great location, could use some attention

Very affordable and easy in and out. Security gates to keep you safe. About a mile from Viejas Casino and 1/2 mile from a Drift racing course. Staff is excellent. Very helpful and pleasant. The sister campground Ma-tar-awa is kept up better and is where you need to go to check in. Vista is…

Beautiful place

The camping sites are nice and spacious with plenty of area between sites. Lots of pretty views anywhere you camp and lots of shade and brush. Check out a trail while at the campground. Feels so secluded with the views of the surrounding hills.

Good for families, but not the best part of San Diego

Nice family resort with lots of amenities, shady campsites with trees, and a nice pool. This particular area of San Diego isn't my favorite, but it does the trick as a base for touring the area. It's about 20 minutes from Sea World, 15 minutes to Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo, and 20 minutes to…

This is a beautiful luxury RV resort in Borrego Springs, a desert community in San Diego County that's known for its unique metal sculptures, golf resorts, and beautiful hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay at the Springs, especially the pool area and multiple hot mineral baths on the…

Spacious site, quiet campground

Double fee site was very spacious. Lots of coyote howls at night that would wake us up.

We went in December, most of the vegetation was brown and crunchy. Not very many other folks at the campground, which is how we like it.
