Weekend stay

Very easy check in since we did our reservations through The Dyrt app. Upon arrival we found the facility in a clean state. The ladies in the office was very friendly. We have stayed here in the past with our grandkids and it was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the water play area. The park could use…

Hard to say, easy to stay

This is one of the most beautiful, secluded little places we've been. Showers and bathroom facility kept clean. A short walk down to the edge of the Stanislaus River and you won't want to leave. Very family friendly.

New Hogan Lake

For the price ($20) it's not bad. Plenty of shade. Nice and pieceful. My only gripe was the shower. Some didn't have enough water pressure and others didn't work at all. Right now the boat ramp at acorn is about half a mile from the water.

Great park, beware the yellow jackets!

This is a super magical park! Giant trees, great visitor center and junior ranger program, and swimming in the Stanislaus river (cold but refreshing!!)

Overall Average

We were a bit disappointed by our trip to Yosemite Pines. It has all of the facilities and potential to be amazing, but it felt a bit run down and like it wasn't taken care of properly. The bathrooms and showers were not clean, which is a shame because they are nice and spacious. We were also in a…

Clean Peaceful Beautiful

It is beautiful, clean and not crowded. We planned it last night and it had plenty of spots to pick from. The only downside is that the park closes at 8:00 pm so we had to sleep behind the entrance until 4:00 am when they opened the door again. A Fire ring and a bench available at each spot.

My daughter and I were on a road trip from Long Beach, CA to Long Beach, WA this April and visited with friends in nearby Murphys. They recommended Big Trees State Park, so we swung by to see if we could nab a spot to camp; sadly, the campground was still closed for maintenance—tree clearing,…

We expected a bigger and cleaner area for kids to play in. Unfortunately, the pool area was not to expectations and had a foul smell. My son complained about green mold on the slide. The staff although are friendly and helpful.

Great Spot in the Middle of it All

Great overall experience.

Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, bear box, and parking pad.

Sites are kept clean.

Staff is friendly.

Can’t beat the location.

Beach access.

Some of the bathrooms are in rough shape.

Some campsites are way too close together.

Meteor shower camp out

Had a great time here. We had a spot a 20ft from the lake. It was a meteor shower night and it was amazing. I would recommend this place during the cooler months.

Splash pad was great for the littles, definitely bring chairs down w you. The pool was closed down the day we all tried to get together . The only and biggest downfall was the meat bees. Absolutely ruined the trip. We had a group of 9 families so we couldn’t eat together cuz we all had to escape…

Great Campsite

My family loved this campsite, we enjoyed the swimming pool, splash area, and the mini golf. The sites are a little tight but manageable. We will be coming back!

Upper Eagle Review

Great campground, beautiful pines, with very nice camp hosts. Quiet hours start at 8pm which was fine with us. Park rangers are present and will ticket you if not compliant with placing items/trash in bear boxes, warnings given first though. Lower eagle bathrooms are so much nicer than the ones…

1st Couple’s Camping Trip

Campground was very nice and relaxing. Bathrooms could use some upgrades and store hours could be extended as well.

Overall it was nice just wish it had more things to do.

Great smaller campground

Campsites all have parking pad and area for your tent. Picnic table and campfire ring too! Flush toilets are cleaned regularly and showers take Tokens. Trails are easy, museum is filled with great local indian history. Wild turkey's roam free every morning!
