Good little spot, water dries up during the summer
The lake has receded quite a but that one of the docks is about 100 yards from the actual lake now (California drought). The campsite was well maintained. Each camping section seams to have it's own restroom within 2 minutes walking distance. The wildlife was " people friendly" to say the least. I…

First time here at Jackson and we were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful this park is! Not a bad spot anywhere! Spacious , clean, very friendly staff, beautiful walking trail around the park. The views are so beautiful we will definitely come back!

This is one of the most beautiful, secluded little places we've been. Showers and bathroom facility kept clean. A short walk down to the edge of the Stanislaus River and you won't want to leave. Very family friendly.
For the price ($20) it's not bad. Plenty of shade. Nice and pieceful. My only gripe was the shower. Some didn't have enough water pressure and others didn't work at all. Right now the boat ramp at acorn is about half a mile from the water.
We stayed here for a weekend on a whim in September, and there were a good amount of sites to pick from. We had a view of the lake and some shade at our site, and it was relatively quiet, so we were happy. The lake level was pretty low.

Three Links Camp is a private campground just below Stanislaus National Forest on 108. The campground has dorms for families/groups (a building with bunk beds and a bathroom) and tent and full-hookup RV sites. The campground was beautiful and my kids had a blast walking around all the buildings…
This is a super magical park! Giant trees, great visitor center and junior ranger program, and swimming in the Stanislaus river (cold but refreshing!!)

Easy wheelchair access is nice. the trail around the camp ground is excellent if un even isn’t for you.the trail it winds up at an improved fishing deck, wheelchair accessible. The camp site’s all clean, well maintained and clean rest room’s.
First time up and it's so nice and peaceful. Stayed in the cabin that sleeps 6. Super nice, close to the bathrooms. There's a community outdoors kitchen with stove and sink. Small hiking trail that had some horse nearby that cam and said hi to us. Will definitely be coming back. Love that this…
It is beautiful, clean and not crowded. We planned it last night and it had plenty of spots to pick from. The only downside is that the park closes at 8:00 pm so we had to sleep behind the entrance until 4:00 am when they opened the door again. A Fire ring and a bench available at each spot.
My daughter and I were on a road trip from Long Beach, CA to Long Beach, WA this April and visited with friends in nearby Murphys. They recommended Big Trees State Park, so we swung by to see if we could nab a spot to camp; sadly, the campground was still closed for maintenance—tree clearing,…

We expected a bigger and cleaner area for kids to play in. Unfortunately, the pool area was not to expectations and had a foul smell. My son complained about green mold on the slide. The staff although are friendly and helpful.
Had just an amazing time out in Pinecrest. I have been here a couple times before but this was the first time with a travel trailer. On their website it did state there was water hookups unfortunately there was not. Me and the girlfriend rented a boat for half the price as the early bird special…
