Dirt roads wind through Sitgreaves National Forest to reach this free dispersed area in Forest Lakes, Arizona, where sites are unnumbered and campers simply pull off near the road. No cell service reaches here. The area sees enough use that some vehicle traffic and noise from other groups can occur overnight, though it tends to quiet down after 10 pm. Tall trees provide shade, and there is water access nearby, though the hike down to it is steep. Fire restrictions apply in summer, so check current conditions with the US Forest Service before arriving. Bear Canyon Lake and Camping Area sits less than a mile west, and FR 34B Dispersed Camping is about 1.4 miles southeast if this stretch is full.
