Not my favorite but not bad

Bathrooms: only one bathroom between both sides of the campground, depending how far you are down the road you might have a bit of a walk.

For trailers, there is no pull through spots or back in spots. You park on the side of the campsite. Which wasn’t that bad except we had another trailer next to us and it was pretty close, had there been another one to the left of us it would have been really tight.

Campsites over all are all a little different, some bigger than others, some with better a set up. But all had a fire ring, table, and lamp post, some had a tent pad.

It’s on the rim so it is pretty but it’s not as thick as other campsites moving towards Woods Canyon Lake.

Quiet, expansive and feeling of being remote

We reserved here because there wasn't any availability down by Woods Canyon Lake.  Upon arrival, we were met by Larry the camp host (an amazing friendly gentleman) they gave us some brief directions, rules of the park and local places to visit.  We have a 19' travel trailer and the RV parking is parallel to your campsite so you're level.  The amazing part (space 21) is your campsite....you have .5 mile of wilderness to the rim and enough available free firewood to last a week.  It's quiet and away from the craziness of Woods Canyon and helps you relax and not deal with the noise.

Great location

The camp ground is a good location because its ignored by people trying to get closer to the more popular areas, but its only a mater of minutes to all the same places.

Great views

This is a nice small campground, usually full during the summer. It’s right on the rim and has amazing views. A great place to stay.

Interesting

Small camp ground with not much parking, looks like it was designed for tent camping but the thing fill with 30 foot trailers making it very crowded. I have a 18 foot trailer and I felt it was too big for the place! Otherwise very nice and clean! Camp host was very nice!
