We had a great time and enjoyed the wine! Everything is very clean and well kept. Would stop here again.
This is a great place to stop. Not to far off of I-40 and has beautiful surroundings. It is on the wine trail and there are vineyards across the road.
This was a beautiful campsite. Very clean and quiet. The restrooms were very well kept. A fire pit and picnic table at the sites and a fairly level parking spot. Will be back when passing through.
We stopped here for the night and enjoyed our stay. This is more of an RV park for long term locals. The surrounding country side is pretty and there is a property with a horse close that my daughter enjoyed.
This place pleases in every way. The camp spots are 30 amp & 20 for $15 a night. There are around 10 hookups. The restaurant is amazing, the menu is impressive. There’s a gift shop and tasting room with an extensive variety of wine. We felt like we were in Europe while we were here and it was incredible.
This was an awesome stay. The hosts were above and beyond outstanding. The campground is very well kept, immaculate. They have a nature trail that is well maintained and my daughter loved it. They also make outstanding food and bring it to your site. What more could you ask for!
This was a great place to stop East of Albuquerque, just 3 miles north of I-40. There aren’t many RV parks around and of the handful this is the one where you are going to get some space. There’s a playground for the kids and possibly some horses in the stables. It has full hookups and laundry and is very well maintained.
This is a great campground with a short drive off of hwy 260. The site is clean, secluded and well kept. We saw quite a few wild horses in the vicinity.
This is a nice small campground, usually full during the summer. It’s right on the rim and has amazing views. A great place to stay.
This campground is a very close to Woods canyon lake or a short walk to the rim. Pretty crowded on the weekends but a nice place to stay.
I would recommend going here during the week if possible. On the weekend it is packed and right on a dirt road which is like a freeway on the weekend and creates a lot of dust and noise. However it is right on the rim and has a beautiful view.
This was a nice quiet stop with easy access close to hwy 260. Heard a little hwy noise but not bad overall. Great Verizon cell service.
This campground was very pretty and we enjoyed staying here. It is about 8 miles down a fairly well kept dirt road but with the switchbacks and hills it take about 30 mins from highway 260. About halfway in there is no cell service. There is a picnic table and fire pit at each site. It appeared to be a very low traffic campground likely due to its location. No toilets or hookups. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice fairly quiet campground in the pines three miles off of highway 260. There’s a picnic table and fire ring at the sites as well as a couple vault toilets at the campground. There’s a beautiful view looking out to the NW however there are some fairly large power lines to the west. We would stay here again, nice convenient place.
This campground has a little bit of everything. It’s pretty much right on the ocean and next to a golf course. Has a store/deli with restrooms and an outdoor eating area with a music stage. Would stay here again anytime.
This was a well kept rv campground. They have hookups and sewer. It is more or less an rv Park for people working in the area or staying for longer periods of time. Would stop again if a more scenic spot wasn’t available.
We stopped here at random and got the last spot. It is more or less a parking lot campsite with a dirt lot in the center. It was very windy and dusty. A plus is you were able to walk down to the ocean. Probably wouldn’t stop here again unless we needed to.
We really enjoyed this place. A short walk to Fallen Leaf lake and about a mile walk to Lake Tahoe. They have a trail that takes you there. The camp spots were spacious and was fairly quiet at full capacity. There is a very active bear population and there are bear boxes for coolers etc. We had one at our campsite around 1 am but a flashlight quickly scared it off.
We enjoyed this spot and it is very well maintained. The weather was nice and cool up at approximately 8500 ft. Would stay here again.
