LegendPretty spectacular all around. Sites are spaced well, wooded, and many have direct access to the trails. The trails! So many! We saw 4 waterfalls, including one inside a cave. A mountain bikers or hikers paradise here. It is in a beautiful area with nice homes and mountain views. The camp store is great and the two gates with code are a nice touch. There are cool little wooden play obstacles for the kids in the campground and a huge playground 1/2 mile away inside the park. The Japanese garden is very cool also. Wonderful overlooks to take in the surrounding area. Just a short drive down the mountain to great shops and restaurants. Just what a state park should be. Loved our site along the trail and ridge.
ScoutThe owner is kind but the lady at the office will treat you terribly if you ask for any kind of accommodations as a disabled persons. It looks nice there but how is any disabled human supposed to live at a place that won't even change policies for the FHA laws. Even explained this to her and she just stopped texting. I'm assuming she hasn't done much research into laws. But apparently they are all under the table with no actual insurance at all because it's not a legitimate business under the government.

TravelerI stayed at Campground #1, site on the river #18. It was peaceful and so beautiful. The wood and ice prices were very reasonable. The great check-in girl at the desk was very sweet and informative.
TravelerOvernighted at campground. Decent sized sites with FHU. Clean restrooms and showers. Gravel sites. Campground right near off ramp allowing easy access. Traffic noise from interstate was not bad. Great place to stay while traveling through.
ScoutI just followed the cords with Google maps and led me to a gated area with no trespassing signs... guess a lot can happen in 5 years... don't recommend this spot anymore.
TravelerThis was a great one night stay. Campsite 23 is right next to the creek with a pull through site with gravel. It has a firepit/grill combo and a nice table! Has water and electrical hookups!
