Drove out with some friends from Kansas in early October this year and the views and weather was Amazing! Campsite has “fees” through an honor system so you no host to worry about you come and camp as you go here. Place has fire pits bathrooms! One of my favorite spots to camp in Colorado so far.
For the price you can’t beat the great location, views, and resources this place has to offer. Plenty of nice people who come and go year round and have plenty of privacy for camping and fishing. Recommend to anyone who is thinking about camping around the area.
Went with a buddy for tent camping 1 night this August. Clean area with plenty of firewood and a picnic table. Paid 14$ for a campsite, grass definitely could of been trimmed at our designated campsite. card only at the entrance because of COVID-19 at the moment. We camped right across from the boat ramp but was still a beautiful view
We drove back 10 miles but pretty sure it went back another 10-15. Great dispersed camping. Roads were well maintained. Drove the pickup back in for tent camping this August. Would recommend for a close spot by Yellowstone National Park.
Me and a buddy camped here one night on our way to Yellowstone. Only a little over an hour from Fort Collins Colorado and boy were we impressed with this place. Beautiful hills and rocks for good wind blockage and plenty of trees for great cozy scenery. Definitely one of our most favorite Wyoming spots from the trip.
We camped on the way back from Yellowstone here one night and it was absolutely amazing. Easy well maintained dirt road on the way in and there is a dumpster and bathroom you can use on the main campground. Didn’t check to see if they had showers pretty sure they don’t. Great spot will plan on going back
I rode my bike here this August for a 1 night stay, it was wonderful, plenty of privacy and not hard to find off highway 24. Rode my motorcycle in so it was easy getting into.

Great spot with lots ofspace, beautiful views and only a little over an hour west from Fort Collins
