Right off Wyoming State Highway 233 just outside Kemmerer, this municipal tent site sits beside the Hamsfork River with a small roundabout layout where campers choose their own spot. No separated sites. The fire rings are repurposed wheel rims with grates, and the picnic tables are worn, with some out of service. A self-pay kiosk lists $10 per night, though fee collection appears inconsistent. Campers exploring campgrounds near Kemmerer will find this a functional overnight stop, particularly during the Oyster Ridge Music Festival each July.

Relaxing Tent only

It was kinda crazy, it is in between two small towns. It cost $10, there are only three campsights, one big one and two small ones. I am sure it is just a quick stop camp to your next destination. There are tables, fire pits, walking distance to river. The river it less then a block away. You have tk haul your own trash and bring your own water. Other than that it is a nice place to stop. There are stores that are close to the camp area.

Overgrown but good for a night

Overgrown, no portapotty, and no separated campsites but it was really good for crashing for a night. Its basically a little roundabout and you pick a sport to set up. Me and one other person were there with plenty of space between us. Is next to a road so you can hear cars go by, but its not busy. Says fee area, but there were no fee envelopes and it looks like no one is checking

A stop for road biking, maybe

The sites are overgrown and not well maintained. There are fire rings ( look like wheel rims) with grates. The picnic tables are pretty beaten up and there is a "broken picnic table" pile beginning to form. There is a outhouse available. This is right off the WY State Hwy 233 just outside Kemmerer. The Hamsfork River runs past the campground area. There are some trees. The Oyster Ridge Music Festival takes place annually the last weekend in July and this may be an option if your attending the amazing free event!

There is a selfpay kiosk $10/night.
