Perfect location for a morning trip up Hurricane Ridge

Great national park campground right at the base of the road up to Hurricane Ridge in a beautiful old growth forest. The sites on the inside of the loops looked pretty small and some lacked privacy. We stayed at one of the sites on the outside of the loop that had plenty of room and lots of privacy. It still got pretty cold into the upper 30’s at night in mid May!

Lifesaver campground

Literally every campground closer to Jackson and Tetons NP was full! Decent campground in the Snake river valley but on the other side of the road from the river. It had some of the nicest vault toilets we have ever used! Very clean! Our campsite was fairly level and private.

Convenient roadside campground with a great view

Very convenient pull through rv sites right down the road from the National Monument. Staff was very nice and having a restaurant right there was extra convenient. Prices were pretty high but we expected that. There were only 3 to 4 other campers there in mid July so we almost had the place to ourselves. Fantastic view of the tower at sunset!

Amazing Spot Right on Lake Superior

Rustic campground far away from it all. At least 11 miles of corrugated dirt road to get to the campground from either way. Very slow going with a camper. All sites are first come first served so get there early if you want a spot. We got lucky and grabbed one of the last sites available and we noticed multiple cars driving through later in the day looking for open spots. We had no issues with flies even though it was mid July and had a nice breeze off the lake the whole time we were there. Each site has direct access to the beach and it’s absolutely beautiful.
