Nice wooded sites with just a short walk to the river or water falls and although we visited in early June, there was surprisingly no bugs! Camp sites were clean and it was a very enjoyable stay.
Beautiful sites overlook the cliffs of Lake Superior. Sites are semi secluded and are wooded. No cell service.
This was a small campground but nice sites on the water with outhouses near by. $15 per night. Very nice fire rings but lack of firewood for sale anywhere near by. Lots of thorns in the brush.
Not wooded or private but amazing beach and lots of driftwood! The showers are pay showers but they are available as well as nice bathrooms. I’m not a fan of side by side camp sites, I would rather have space in between but if this is the type of campgrounds you like, this is a good option.
Very cold this time of year on this side of the lake. There are a lot of sites so the busy season might not be as pleasant since we were the only ones here during our stay but if you’re the type that socializes, this place would be great. Plots have some trees but not nearly as wooded and me and the hubby prefer, otherwise would have warned 5 stars.
Nice stop to get good WiFi. Otherwise, it’s not a very rustic camping experience. Great if you’re into that kind of RV park.
Great location in relation to Lake Superior but sites are not very private. Lots of firewood available for sale.
Sites are not very private or wooded but the lake access is great and there great amenities including cable tv access at some sites. Bathrooms were closed at our visit tho.
