Decent park for short stay

Stayed two nights as the location was convenient for my stay in town. Older park with mature trees offering shade on most lots. Power pedestal upgrades to 30 and 50 amp to majority of lots. Limited FHU lots grouped together in lower area. Suspect this area could have drainage issues during heavy rainfall. Lots near highway would tend to be noisier. Restroom and shower area was kept up and clean. Very functional shower stall with plenty of hot water. Dump station designed for one sided unloading with non-potable and potable water nearby. Expect to wait if other using the dump station. Overall, decent place for short-term stays.

Curry Park

Nice campground, clean, friendly hosts, plenty of space to walk my dogs. Nice shower/bathrooms, clean with great water pressure.

Saw a deer

Saw a deer walking through camp. Nearby brewery was a nice treat! Sites we stayed at were pull through sites with full hook ups. A picnic table and fire pit is provided at each campsite and we were able to stay next to friends we were traveling with (specified we would like neighboring sites when we made the reservations). Nice amount of tree cover at our sites. The road into the campground was nice and smooth. There is also a small playground, bathrooms, and sanitary dump site in the campground.

City Park

Very nice and clean city park, right in town on the main road. The sites are all open and have zero privacy between them, but there was still a calm friendly vibe at the park (usually wide open campgrounds feel chaotic and messy to me).

FHU sites are $35/night, power only is $25, tents are $15. Pull through sites to your left as you come in, and to the right is a loop with back in sites.

Dumping fee for non-campers is $15, a bit higher than most places, and it’s another $15 to fill your tank with water. :(

Good cell reception here since it’s right in town. There’s a swing set but not much else in terms of activities or a playground. Each site has a nice new picnic table and fire pit. There are trash dumpsters but no recycling here.

Good overnight spot

Not a destination, but a good place to overnight. Right off highway, but traffic noise not too bad inside our rv. Must register online but had until 10:00 pm same day to do so. There are no tags to let you know what spots are reserved as you drive through- you have to go to website and view either the list or map to determine open sites.

Dump station is free for campers, otherwise $15.

Cool and shady

This little campground gives you a neighborhood feel. Play area has 3 swings, 2 are broken but there was only one toddler here during our visit. Showers in bathroom, typical campground style. Some sites a little bit close to the road as far as noise, but far from full when we were there, on a Saturday.

Decent Pit Stop

It’s a nice camping park on the main road in Ironwood MI. It’s a good place to stop on your way to your real destination. The bathrooms and showers are pretty good as far as camp bathrooms go. Flushing toilets! There are swings. The picnic tables are not at every site. A lot of sites are on slanted ground, but the two times I’ve been here there were plenty of flat spots available. The RV sites are level.

Campground looked nice

We didn't camp there.  We just used the public dump station, twice.  Minimal fee.  Very clean.
