We’re a small campground in northern Wisconsin. And we like it that way. We’re the kind of place you can take your family and not feel like you’re camping with the masses. Here you set your own pace and agenda. Paddle a kayak down the river, cast a fly in our trout stream or simply hang out at our beach. It’s up to you! There are 45 sites water/electric sites (23 seasonal and 22 overnight), 2 sleeping cabins, a glamping tent that sleeps 2 and a lake house that sleeps up to 14. There are bathrooms and a shower house available to all campers. Tilleda Falls Campground offers lots of amenities including a private beach for swimming, river for fishing, kayaking, beer bar, activities every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day including wood and paint projects and MORE! This campground is wide and very open. We arrived on a Sunday and the weekend crowd had cleared out, so nice and quiet. One thing is— do not plan on doing laundry on a Monday. The personnel use all the machines to wash linens and towels from the cabins after folks check out. One dryer did not heat very well. The entry to the laundry is a step up and I stubbed my toe because the threshold was not secured.

We have been coming here for a long time. It is under new management and we thought things would get better. While we were here other guests trashed the beach and had dogs running and using the bathroom throughout the campsite. The rules for dogs were to keep them on leashes and clean up after them. These rules were not being followed which caused the beach, in the past is lovely, but with the dogs using it as a bathroom the beach smelt like poop. Nobody in our week of staying cleaned up after them so we needed to go somewhere else to swim. If your place is pet friendly please make sure to keep up with your own rules. The cabins are run down but showers are hot and the utilities are still able to be used

This weekend there was a screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas (one of our favorites) and loads of cool decked out campsites. Only a few places with full hook up and ALL by the dump station. Nice amenities, lake, splash pads, mini golf, splash pad outdoor pool, golf car rentals, outdoor movies, a full size haunted house!
TravelerWe stayed in a rental trailer here and were very impressed! There is a good mix of open and wooded sites. The weekends it gets busy, but the sites are for the most part spaced well enough apart that you don’t feel packed in. The owners/management were very friendly and responsive to all of our requests. You are close to all of the activities Eagle River has to offer, although not directly on the chain of lakes. They have a nice walking trail on the property, in addition to a bunch of activities geared toward the kids. We definitely plan to go back here again!
GuideMy kids have been camping with my mom here for years- since it was Kastle. We started a couple years ago. This is such an amazing family campground! Kids of all ages everywhere. After dark the kids usually have a big game of something up at the playground and I have to tell them to be home at a decent time or they’d stay out all night! The office is hard to get a hold of- I’ve learned to call on the weekends during check in or check out times so someone is in the office. There are themes each week so make sure to check their site before so u know! It might be Pirate week or something else fun! There is a bar and a pool and a poolside bar. A small no-wake lake is on premise. and they have golf cart rentals! Halloween weekends are by far the most popular weekends for good reason!! I really could go on and on. Haha This has been my kids favorite spot for almost a decade! We stayed last year every other weekend from mid-may through September. This year we will be back for 3 weekends simply because we have other places booked with friends a lot.

This is a larger campground with a good mix of seasonal and weekend campsites. The majority of the weekend campsites are located near the prime activity locations; the pool, playground and lake areas. There are full sun and full shade sites available. The Shady sites are amongst the evergreens, so they tend to be sandier. The full sun sites are all grass. All of the sites have a gravel pad to park on; the exception to this are the lakeside sites which are concrete pads. There is a camp store and a good sized bar & grill. The weekend we were here it rained non-stop, so we did not get to use any of the available canoe/kayak/fishing boat/pontoon boat rentals. We did make ample use of the mini-golf, playground, and heated swimming pool though. The pool was warm enough that even the non-stop rain did not cool it down enough to be uncomfortable. The seasonal campers I met and talked with were all friendly and did not have the “why are you here” attitude I occasionally come across when staying at seasonal heavy resorts. I did see several people fishing in the rain and pulling keepers out of the lake to be cleaned and cooked. They were fishing from the docks. Our kids are 7 & 10 and they were never bored. There were a couple trails within the campground that were good for nature hikes. If it were a little closer to home, this campground would be on the shortlist of places to have a seasonal site at.

This campground is right on Jack Lake and Game Lake. There are a bunch of trails right in and around the campground, as well as opportunities for canoeing on Game Lake (there is a canoe you can just use for free). The Ice Age trail, the 1000 mile trail that goes throughout Wisconsin, also passes right by the campground.
RangerAs a father with 3 young kids, I thoroughly enjoy this camp for the activities and amenities available. The water area is a favorite for kids and the grounds sport plenty of things to grab their attention from mini-golf to the lake. The sites themselves had enough to meet your needs, as well as enough tree cover to still help you enjoy the feeling of being in nature. The drive in is nice and accessible even for bigger rigs. It's a good entry point for the nature in Northeast Wisconsin.
RangerThe thing that impresses me most about this campground is that they manage to do a lot with a little. The Falls are a beautiful little site which the campsites themselves manage to wrap around to maximize the space and fit spaces for all to enjoy. Fortunately, the river itself adds more space for folks to enjoy the water on rocky outcroppings and trees lining much of the banks.
The small town in which the camp is placed gives a true Wisconsin-Midwestern veneer to your stay. Some basic amenities are close by, and the community itself feels safe and inviting. I would have enjoyed a longer stay but I hope to visit it again soon. 5 stars for making the most of what they have.

The owners are passionate about providing an excellent camping experience. It is not a normal campground, sites are very spaced out, group sites can accommodate up to 30 people per site. Large groups of campers come to explore natures untouched wolf river and experience white water rafting together. Groups have a very unique bonding experience through these river trips. They have a convenience store that magically has anything anyone may ever forget for peace of mind that you won’t have to leave your secluded nature sanctuary. Guests don’t want to leave and cannot wait to come back!

ScoutA last minute trip took us to this area and the online booking made it so easy to find availability. We were extremely pleased with the friendly and accommodating staff. The site we booked was very level and spacious for our toy hauler. They have many things to offer at the store where you check-in including: tap beer, cute local goods and crafts, and anything you may have forgotten to pack on your camping trip! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. You can tell there is great care and a commitment to growth toward this campground. I would check out their website for any upcoming events. If you’re looking for an event, an adventure down the river or a charming wooded campsite, I would recommend this place every time.

Very nice campsites. With great owners. It probably is the newest campground in the state. All the RV pads have concrete in their leveled. Every campsite has a fire pit. But at their little bar area it is very unique they have a pile of different games for everybody to use or play they have a big camp fire there every night. Very down to earth people but just want everybody to have a great time.

GuideLove this camp ground, but they definitely pack it in. Always a good time and party when we're there....but that's what we're looking for. All their sites are nicely wooded, but can get to be close quarters. Good facilities, good bar, great food, newly remodeled pool facilities. Wifi is lacking, but who really needs that camping?

Nice and quiet campground, little cool for weather while we were there but so peaceful. Linda was so nice in the office and really helpful, purchased firewood and so nice that they delivered. Would recommend and will stay again. Thanks for the wonderful week.
GuideLocated down a quiet paved road just 2 miles outside of town. You are close to the action but dont have to listen to it.
Some sites are tight/close and others you could turn around in. Most are fairly level or it doesnt take much to make your camper level. Very little grass at site but you get a picnik table and a fire pit. Wood must be bought at the store but pay attention to the hours as they close early. Plenty of mosquitoes but you are in the woods. Daytime they arent too bad.
Bathrooms were very clean.
Full hookups, no wifi or at least we couldnt find it. Dogs are welcomed , no barking allowed. Cell phone service was good so you can work if you have too. AT&T and Verizon.

TravelerI truly wish I could give Zero stars for this park. The park itself is in a nice location, but the manager has clearly chosen the wrong career path. We had nothing but electrical issues the entire time we stayed there in a very hot part of summer and the managers answer to the problem when I brought it to her attention was, “don’t run the a/c if you’re having issues, no one else seems to have a problem!” On top of that there is a sign forbidding just about everything you can think of posted everywhere at this park....save your time and go elsewhere.
GuideThe campground was peaceful. A little dated and the websites amenities were a little stretch. Beautiful lake access with small beach. Has heated swimming pool but was closed for season. Does have a wildlife school across the road with free trails you can walk.
ScoutOn the Embarrass River, a lovely small cascading falls and swimming area. Small store, nicely maintained grounds. Rachel, the owner is very nice. We absolutely lived our stay, would have stayed longer if there were a y availability. We will return.

Nice playground for the kids, swim beach for great summer fun, campground store/food/drinks if you’re hungry or desire a cold drink to beat the heat and such amazing riverside views that melt the weeks stress away! We will definitely be back to this jem of a campground! Come see for yourself, don’t take my word for it!
