What you should know
Limited cell service: Prepare for disconnection at certain campgrounds. At Clendening Lake Marina, "There is no cell service up there so be prepared, we lost it for about 20 minutes before the camp site. We have sprint. Make sure to pack a old school map so you can get around," advises Ashley E.
Site leveling challenges: Barkcamp State Park has topography issues to consider. "We stayed here November 21, 2020... The campground had no water hookups, about 90% of the sites were not level (and....I mean by A LOT)," warns Connor M.
Seasonal variations in amenities: Tappan Lake Park Campground changes throughout the year. "We stayed in area 5. Awesome place. It was late October so most things were closed. We'll definitely be back in 2024," shares Denise H.
