Primitive tent camping at its best. Water available in campground along with latrines. Heavily wooded and lots of entry level trails to hike. Easy terrain and lots to see. Also did some geocaching along the trails here! Was here with group of Boy Scouts and they loved it.

Beautiful tall semi old growth trees everywhere. The 15 sites are well maintained and form two loops around three portapotties. There appear to be other bathrooms but they were locked up. This place is the definition of a shady spot for pigmentally challenged white boys like me. There are a…

We stayed on a Sunday night, arrived when there was only 3 tent sites remaining. The campground is right at the ferry dock so you will get that early morning fog horn. Easy walk up the hill to the fort. We had a bald Eagle in the morning which was awesome. The restrooms are very clean. Showers are…
RV & trailers with helpful park rangers. We arrived same day and found spots to park our 30’ RV. Water and power with waste at central spot. Padilla Bay is dramatic and quiet morning and evening, a short walk away. Lots of kids and great for them to finally play together in the common field.
Camano Island State Park was a great campground so close to Seattle. We stayed in site 24 with friends on either side of us. The campsites were roomy with enough separation from our neighbors. Though 24 and 37 (I think) may have been a little close if it weren’t our friends. Some sites on the other…
We didn’t have a reservation, but lucked out on a great site. All sites have a calendar posted with reservation dates listed. First come first serve is available for any not reserved that night. There’s a self serve pay station where it’s east to pay using card or cash. Super close to the Ferry…

We came up mid week for a few days. It was gorgeous. Nice old forest sites right on the water. A short path to the beach and playground. Beautiful new restrooms and well cared for state park

We loved camping here. The rangers on duty were so nice and helpful. Nice and quite away from it all.
The beach is a short walk away.
The ice cream truck even visited the campground!
Overall, great experience the facilities were super clean and we had a great time.

I love that there is access to the beach from the whole park. Its nestled in to some old growth forest and really peaceful.
I rented a long term space here for over 2 years while working in Washington. Price was by far the best around. It's a very good sized place with spaces to accommodate even the largest trailers. Even when full there's room to maneuver.Full hookups, wifi, bathrooms, shower, laundry room, swimming…
We managed to book a last spent site here. The site was not the best but still large enough for our family of five. The facilities are good, real bathrooms and showers in the center of the grounds, not a long walk from any site.
Some sites are more compact than others and few are extremely…

If you are camping with a trailer or motorhome, this place is great but it is not for tent campers. I was surprised to learn when I checked in that there are no actual designated tent sites, just a big open grassy area with picnic tables and fire rings but no distinguishable separation between…
My son and I spent one night here mid week. It is a solid camp ground, quiet and very clean.
Most sites are reasonably private, water spigots and bathrooms (which for pit toilets were the cleanest I’ve ever experienced) are not too far of a walk from any site.
There are plenty of trails…

This is a quaint camping spot along the lake. Good fishing. Quiet.
