Loud and dirty

So loud. Kids on electric scooters, bikes, running through our site. Dogs barking kept us up late and woke us before dawn. Two bathrooms, one was filthy. Broken paddle boats on a dirty pond. In the middle of a residential neighborhood. Would not return.

Wonderful nearby campground

We were dying to go on a quick camping trip. Lynden KOA was the perfect nearby campground. Tent sites in the back are rather dusty (no grass)… but then again we’re camping so who cares. Grassy sites are around the pond and book up quickly. Great Amenities…. Swimming pool, mini golf, arcade games, paddle boats. Lots of trees and shade!. I love how it’s tucked away and you forget your right in Lynden. Close enough to town for a bike ride or a run. Pet friendly

Good for kids

Great site for kids because of amenities. I went once in a tent and one on a cabin. Definitely more worth the cabin. I found the tent sites extremely dusty like more than normal. The cabins were good though. Luxury of having power and a bed. Definitely not a nature getaway. The pool and amenities are great though.

Camping oasis in town

The lynden KOA is a small piece of camping paradise in the heart of lynden, kids can ride their bikes and fish and parents don't have to worry.

Nice place, great staff

We live just a few miles away so this place is a nice quick getaway. Staff is always nice, and the campground is safe. Depending on where they put you, the spots are pretty close if you’re next to someone with a tip out. Great place for kids. Youngsters love the playground, older ones like the arcade.

Tight knit community Kamping

It was the only place in the area we could find last minute. Never been to a KOA before, but they are definitely for a particular type of camper. This place was LOUD during the day with kids running around and walking through our small tent campsite. All the tent sites were right by the playground. Cabins were offered, RV sites and hookups, lots of amenities for kids. Not my thing but the staff was friendly upon check in.

Loved it!

Really loved our stay here! We were wanting to visit some family, and thought we would do some camping while here as well as some hiking. This part of Washington is beautiful. We have been a few times, but never hiked or camped. The weather was perfect for us, so much sunshine and warm weather! The campground was great, clean, and quiet. There actually weren't very many people, which was surprising because it was summer! Mid July we thought it would be packed, but it wasn't. The restrooms were clean, but definitely bring toilet paper because by the second night they were out. It must have rained the day before we got there because the campground was a little wet and muddy. We were able to do our tent, though and it almost made it easier to get the stakes into the ground because it was soft. We went hiking twice, and loved every second of it. As you can see from my pictures, flowers were in full bloom and were absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't stop taking pictures of flowers! There were these super pretty purple ones that were everywhere. This make the hike even that much more better. We will definitely be back- although we like to explore different campgrounds so we might not be back to this campground (not because it was bad, but because we want to experience others ones!).
