Great family friendly trip

We had a great time here. We camped in the tent camping side towards the lake (site 89) and had a decent amount of privacy. There was a stream leading to the lake right behind our site which was beautiful and so relaxing to listen to at night. Only downside was the site is fairly dusty/lots of…

Parking Site

This is a plain dirt parking spot located walking distance to main part of town. The cell signal is great and I saw a security car loop around a couple times.

Lakeside camping

Quiet place, just sounds of nature. Spots vary in size and the ones with lake access go first. Too windy for a fire, but fire rings made from rocks are present. 2WD vehicles should have no problem, but doesn’t seem equipped to handle trailers or RV’s.

Road Trip

Big nice full hook up developed campground. Upper loop is more sage brushy & less manicured lawn than the lower loop. Great views and pretty private spots. If there is a concert at the Gorge don’t even try here as it will be a full party palace. Can be very windy.

Beautiful campground on the shores of Lake Chelan

Great option to camp at Lake Chelan about 15 min from Chelan on the quiet south shore. The campground has great water access, boat launching, some waterfront sites (on the west loop) and a quiet family-oriented atmosphere. Clean bathrooms, shower and great cell reception (AT&T).

Perfect place for long weekend

This campground is perfect for a long weekend. My friends and I stayed there for five days. Unfortunately the water was little low than we expected.

One of the best

Plenty of space, paver and flat lot, big grass area, the hiking / hiking trial is close with water.

Great Trip

This campground has it all for all types of camping. We stayed in a cabin while our friends stayed in an RV site. By far my favorite camping trip of the summer. Not only are the spaces fairly big for a private campground our spaces have full hooks up including sewer. Also the ability for a boat…

Great Visit

If you are staying in one of the RV sites it has water and power hook ups. Our stay was great, the only unpleasant part of the trip was the automatic sprinkler system coming on Monday-Friday for 30 minutes at each site. We had to almost pack everything up into the trailer each day and then pull it…

Pretty and busy

Nice campground on the lake with several loops, and most sites having some privacy. The rangers were super nice. This campground is reservable and VERY busy. The vault toilets were clean(seemed new!), and the potable water was very good. All of the sites had picnic tables and fire pits. There are a…

With early reservations you can get several pull-thru sites overlooking the Lake and river gorge. 35 FHU sites in Upper Loop 2, 35 Partial sites (W/E) in Loop 3 and 27 Standard sites in Loop 1. Water swim and boat launches with great open area recreation and field area. Amphitheater. Good paved…

A Great Convenient Location

We stayed at one of the 'dry' sites and were pleasantly surprised that we had water. Looks like they are finishing up installing the electric hook ups for the now currently dry sites. Some road noise but not too bad. Great trails along the Yakima River and a fun little playground for the kiddos (I…

Easy camping sans sewer hookups

Great state park,. Fairly private pull throughs in north. Lots of hiking and fishing.

Heads up, bring your bug spray.
