KOA Spokane

Nice little place in the Spokane Valley close to shopping Idaho boarder. Has small outdoor pool bike rentals. Good bathroom and showers. Down side right next to train tracks though thr train didn't go by much during the day but of course it did at night blasting it's horn every time. It's a good…

Lovely wild camping

Beautiful BLM area! Plenty of drive-in areas and tons of land around the lake to access. The single vault toilet is down at the lake, but helpful if needed. We will be back!

Still a nice little camping spot JR in in

This is my second visit to Liberty Lake Regional Park. After 4 years, it’s still a great park, if a little older. There are about 18 RV sites, all with water and 30amp electric, and 2 full hookup sites up on the hill. There are also about 15 tent sites, and a group site. The road coming into the…

Not a campground

This is a nice park and the western most point to the Centennial Trail, but there are no campsites and it is not allowed. There is nearby camping connected to the Riverside State Park system.

Quiet, flat, easy boat acess.

Docked here in mid Sept 2020 to camp for the night. Area was well used, so native grasses were well trampled, as it is the first boat-in camp from Grand Coulee Dam. Vault toilet, fire pits and picnic tables for 4 sites bioat dock supports up to 8 boats. Overall nice camp spot.

Beach, Camp, Play

This Spot i have been going to for 35 + years its operated by the county and a fee of 25 dollars is charged for basic dirt camping spot, more for RV and cabins. Sandy beach, amazing hikes through ancient ceder Forrest. For an urban campground I think this is as good as it gets.

Loud trains and spotty wifi

Be sure to try air your gieviences with Cathy in the office... She'll let you know exactly what a good network setup should be.

Well maintained and manicured

Very clean with all the trim :) space between units, a dog park and playground, and nearby to restaurants while being just far enough on the edge of town to feel as such

Convenient Camping

Liberty Lake is great for a quick get away if you have a camping itch that you need to scratch. It is easy to get to and has everything you need. It can be crowded and the sites aren’t secluded but is beautiful in the summer and close to the lake.

The bathrooms are always clean, there’s showers,…

Nice but loud

A nice campsite close to Spokane and Idaho. Friendly staff and clean. I really like this spot, but the noise from the trains is loud. Be sure to bring earplugs if you are tent camping.

Simple and quite

Short distance from I-90. Easy access. Simple and quite with wildlife viewing at the old homestead and pond. Nice stop and peaceful overnight.

  • Old barn at the homestead.

Primitive BLM dispersed campsite with with lots of hiking trails

30 minutes from Spokane and just a few miles off I-90 this is a great area for winter and spring camping and hiking. The lake is open for winter season fishing but closes March 31. There is usually lots of day hike activity, but not much overnight camping.

There are no real amenities except an…

  • The waterfall at the NE end of Hog Canyon lake. This is on
private property so please respect that. There are nice photo
opportunities from the overlook.
  • Nice hammock hang sites between Ponderosa Pines.
  • Lots of flat areas for tents.
