Ocean Breeze RV Resort - KM Resorts

Beach access, rainforest day trips, and coastal town activity keep campers busy at this large RV resort in Ocean Shores, Washington. The Pacific coast beaches are reachable by car, with public beach access a short drive up the road where vehicles can actually drive out onto the sand. The Quinault Rainforest sits roughly 45 minutes away, making this a workable base for day trips into the Olympic Peninsula. Nearby, Screamin' Eagle Campground and Sturgeon Trailer Harbor give campers additional options in the same corridor.

Site variety is one of the more notable features here. Some sites sit in open areas, others are cut into the forest, and some are fully covered by tree canopy, which one camper noted made rain "hardly noticeable with the tree coverage." Reviewers mention wild blackberry bushes growing near sites. The resort has over 300 sites, and guests can pick their own. Electric and water hookups are available, but there are no sewer connections. Six dump stations across two locations serve the entire property instead.

Facilities include a pool open during summer months, multiple playgrounds, and bathhouses that reviewers describe as clean, though the fixtures are older. A Saturday pancake breakfast and Sunday cinnamon rolls are recurring events worth knowing about. Non-members pay higher rates. August weather here regularly stays below 70 degrees with stretches of rain, so packing layers makes sense. Campers interested in campgrounds near Copalis Crossing will find this stretch of coast has several options worth comparing before booking.

Great for larger rigs

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Breeze. Love the Saturday Morning pancake breakfast and the Sunday morning cinnamon rolls! The sites are large-30 amp no sewer. But it was ok and the bathhouse was clean. There are over 500 sites to choose from. The forest is thick and ancient. Check out the over 800 year old Sequioa stumps. And the stump carvings in the meadow are so cool! We enjoyed the access to so many beaches and of course did some Ocean Shores tourism.

Ocean breeze K&M RV Resort

This is a great place. It's in Ocean shores/city WA. It is a private resort but public can stay as long as they have openings but the have over 300 camp sites. Most sites are decently paced very few are not. Has a pool during the summer months. Open year round. Close to the beach 4 miles from Ocean Shores, WA one way and 2miles from Ocean City, WA the other. Great shops good food in town many different activities going on most weekends throughout the summer. Thought it may be a little spendy for non members it worth it.

Huge campground with private sites

This campground had some of the most private sites I’ve ever seen. Rarely can you go to an RV park and not see your neighbors. There are sites in open areas, some cut into the forest, and some completely covered by trees. We found tons of wild blackberry bushes near our site.

Pros:

  • Large, private sites with lots of shade if you want it
  • Several playgrounds, a large pool, and other facilities that were all open
  • The beach nearby is beautiful
  • Only 45 minutes to Quinault Rainforest
  • You get to pick your own site

Cons:

  • The bathrooms are a little older and some of the facilities are dated
  • No sewer hookups! In a 300+ site campground I was shocked to learn they had no option for sewer. They have 6 dump stations in 2 locations instead
  • No direct beach access. We drove up the street to the public access area where you can actually drive out into the beach
  • Weather in this part of WA is notoriously bad. We were there for a week in mid August and the temps barley broke 70 with 2 days of straight rain

Fathers day weekend

This place is great, I dont think there was a bad site. It rained while we were there, but it was hardly noticeable with the tree coverage. We were not members of KM Resorts, but definitely worth it
