Nicest Parking Lot Ever!

Cons: Literally three terraced asphalt parking lots with a large swath of grass and well spaced trees for some shade between each section. Absolutely no privacy. Pros: Beautiful views and lake access. Tent only section is closest to the waterfront.

RV sites are two vehicles wide and very short. My 24’ tongue-to-tail trailer was fine but anything over 30’ is a no go. Must unhitch and park tow vehicle next to rig or the road would be completely blocked. I got lucky with an end spot that gave me access to a large grassy downslope and an unobstructed view of part of the lake.

What do visitors say about Spring Canyon Campground in their reviews?

Visitors highlight Spring Canyon's beautiful lake views and excellent water access as major strengths. The sandy beach and day use area receive high praise. The campground layout features three terraced asphalt parking lots separated by grassy areas with well-spaced shade trees. While the open design offers minimal privacy between sites, the waterfront location compensates for this limitation. The tent-only section's proximity to the water is appreciated. RV campers should note that sites are wide but relatively short. Guests also appreciate the boat launch facility and report that bathrooms are generally clean and well-maintained.

What group camping facilities are available at Spring Canyon Campground?

Spring Canyon offers a dedicated group camping area separate from its regular camping sections. The group site accommodates larger gatherings with ample space on grassy terrain with shade trees. In addition to the group area, the campground features two regular camping sections. All campers have access to clean bathrooms, the sandy beach, and day use facilities. For RVs, the group area provides parking spaces, though they tend to be short and designed for two vehicles parked side-by-side.

Spring Canyon Campground is situated directly on the Columbia River within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. The campground offers easy access to the water with a beautiful sandy beach. It's positioned in a terraced layout that provides scenic views of Lake Roosevelt.
