Great stop over night

It was a stop over for one night while returning home. The ladies at check in were very nice and welcoming. Long pull trough site allowed us to stay hooked up. The utilities were well placed. Sites offer fairly good privacy with hedges. This park is desert view as is in it's name, so don't expect to walk to the river. My navigation, didn't do a good job of finding it, so look for the signs they have placed on the roads. It is next to the KOA if that helps. I'd come here again.

Nice Visit

Located inside the NP and close to the south rim made for place to spend 5 days. Checking in was ok, the guy checking us in appeared to be a bit stressed when 4 RV's wanted to check in at once. He did a great job of getting our group of three together. Utilities were well placed and trash cans we close by. Rode our bikes from the park to the various places on the south rims. I would put this on the list of the places I would come back to.

I think the best in town,

Nicely laid out park. Lots of trees and shade. The site we had was nice but the utilities were in the very back of the site. I had one extension on the sewer hose and almost need another. The water hose was a stretch too. Lots of rules at this place, one of them, no fires, propane, wood or otherwise.

Great stop - Nice location on the river

Stopped here for one night as we were passing through. The staff we met were MJ and Carrie, very nice and friendly who wanted to make sure we were taken care of. The sites were long enough to not unhitch and the utilities were placed well. It was a short walk to the river where we spent some time. Departed the next day.

Revised, our second trip here.

Still 4 stars, more accurately 3.5 stars. We were under the trees this time instead of on the asphalt parking lot slab. All dirt, dirt back in site, dirt camp site accessed by a dirt road. Expect lots of dust. Bring all your campsite mats, you will need it. We backed in pretty deep to the site as not to run into our neighbor, My long shore cord had to be stretched to get to the power box. The water and sewer fine. Why these boxes are so far back almost into the next site is puzzling. Upon leaving, the access road is totally blocked by vehicles lined up for the dump station. If you want to avoid this, leave early.  Not really sure if there will be a third visit.

Clean, quiet, relaxing and well done.

Great campground. Love the lake. Easy access for our kayak. Beautiful lake for fishing as well. The cleanest restrooms and showers that I have ever experienced camping. We have been here three times now. No sewer, but the dump area is quiet and efficient. Beautiful woods and hiking available as well. We will be back.

Great location and RV Park

The location is close to stores and restaurants that are about 10 minutes away…that we needed after discovering a damaged tire. The front desk recommended a tire store that was just north of the park. Thank you…The park has been set up nicely. The sites are a bit tight from the adjoining sites. Site were level and all the hook ups worked without issue. The location made for an hour's drive to Los Alamos and Bandelier national monument. Both great visits if you haven't been there before.

We would stay here again

Pretty good location with nice views. For us we were visiting family and they were close by. Not far at all from downtown Taos. CE, the owner was probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She took the time at check in to give all of the information to enjoy our stay. She also, gave us local info and maps of points of interest, restaurants  and activities. The grounds keeper was very friendly as well, asking us if we needed anything during our stay. The gravel sites are long and pretty wide offering some privacy. The hook ups were well placed and worked well during our stay. When in Taos, we will return here.

Incredible Location

Loved the location. Right on the Colorado River. Bike path is right out the front. We rode it from Aspen down valley and right back to our campsite. A feature we really liked.

The sites were tight. Class A's take up most of it. The good thing is the row we were on had lots of room to maneuver in front of the site. The Laundry room was broke the 3 days we were there. So prepare for that. I would be back just because of the location.

Close as you can get to the Arches entrance

This park is very close to Arches entrance, so we chose it, that and we have stayed at several Sun properties. So we paid the higher than average price in the area to stay there.

The folks at check in we very nice. Once we were at the site, we noticed all camp side tables and pad were shared. 2 tables about 10 feet apart. That is why in the rows, one RV parks north the other the south. Whoever thought this up, hopefully he is out of the business. Our common site folks we nice and wondered what table was theirs. You can't help meeting people here. :-)

The best in the area

We saw the reviews and decided to take a flyer here. We weren't disappointed. The name suggests the majority of guests would all have toy haulers and ORV's, That wasn't the case.   We checked in and was met by Heidi who with her husband are the owners.

She escorted us to our site and explained everything we needed to know. The hook ups are installed nicely, laid out in order as most RV's as built. The water for the sites are reverse osmosis. I did check it with my meter, and it is very clean. Cell service is spotty at best. This place is out there, which is great. We set up our Starlink just for situations like this because we personally need Wi_Fi calling. We did take some walks around the park and down by the river in early evening. This park is pretty new and lots of the trees are maturing nicely. You can see how the owners take great pride in the care and service they provide. If in this area again, we will be back here.

The Place to go for Bryce Canyon NP

Nice check in experience. Friendly staff was help for directing us to some items in the store and filling propane. There are 2 sections of the park. Lot of sites located under the trees (like we had), another area is more out in the open which looked to be newer and great for big rigs. The park shuttle picks up right in front. There is also bike paths that you can ride to the park. The bike path also heads the other way for miles! We will return here if ever this way again.

Good location in St.George

Nice sized sites. We had a pull through. After check in we were escorted to our site and given information about the park. The strange was it wasn't clear on where to park the tow vehicle, although you will have plenty of room once you figure it out. It just looks like you are parking in another site. It is an hour to Zion NP if you are there for that. Other parks are closer to the park, but we were coming from SoCal, so enough towing for one day. All the hook ups worked fine and were laid out fine.

Nice location if coming to Holbrook AZ

Great proximity to the Petrified forrest NP. Campsites were wide and level. Nice amenities include the chairs, table and fire pit. It also had a fair amount of privacy. Nice experience. Staff were. friendly and helpful.

The power did go out with 102F. The staff restored power and came around to all campsites with the status, Much appreciated.

Always a good stay

Having stayed here a few times, it is always fun. Check in was nice and efficient.

We had a pull trough site that is on the southern part of the park. This is normally more quiet and has better maneuvering room. Friends joined us in the retro Airstream. Nothing but good reports from them. Wineries and breweries located  very close by, so slaking a thirst is never a problem. I'm sure we will be back.

Great location for beach and dunes access.

Very nice SP campground. Don't try to check in early, you will get suggestions to park until check in time of 2pm. Once in, the sites with hook ups sans sewer, will actually be pull through sites, which was nice. From there, you can walk. ride or drive on to the beach. There are paths around the camp that go around the estuary type lagoon. Dune trails are nice for hiking although some thick sand in places. We rode our bikes on the beach. Low tide makes it very easy with wet packed sand. The sites are spaced pretty well. We will be back for sure.

Nice for a couple of days

This was our first visit to the Oceanside area. The RV park did a great job with communication in all phases of the planned stop. They did text to look for the check in with the orange flags. Once there, these flags are very narrow and I hard a hard time spotting them, as they are on a busy sign flooded street.. After circling back and now coming from the east, the narrow drive with the street light and curb wasn't enough for us to turn…so backed it up and went to the wider entrance down the street. Hopefully your arrival will be easier. :-). Once through self check in, the sites are all concrete but pretty tight. All the hook ups worked well. The Wi-Fi is one of the best I have used. The showers and bathrooms are very clean. No real views there. Beach is an easy walk or bike ride. We enjoyed the restaurants, town and the outdoors of Oceanside.

My Favorite California State Beach

This is a gem of a campground. Almost every site has an ocean view of some kind.

The roads that lead to the sites is a bit narrow, so if your towable is on the long side, you might have to work a bit to back it in. The maximum length is 38. We had 30/50 amp electrical and water. Dump station is on your way out, with 3 stations in that row. Wi-Fi works fair. Cell towers are in sight just to the north, so no reception issues. Lots of hiking and bike trails. We did a 12 mile loop to the north, and a ride along the coast on some bike paths. Shake shack and Beachcomber's restaurants are just down the street for an easy ride or walk. Bathroom and showers are very clean. The picnic tables are what you would expect, very seasoned. :-) Most are anchored to the sites. The length of the site is very good with lots of room to setup your outdoor goodies. Check in is at 3pm. They are hard on this. If you arrive early, you can register, but will be directed to Reef Point back down PCH or to the visitors center in front of the camp entrance.

Our go to place

This was another trip here. We needed a quick getaway, and this is always a good choice for us. Check in was easy, they even changed our site after showing all that were available. The was February, so lots of available sites. We will be back!

A great desert glamping destination

When we arrived, check in was quick and were escorted to our site. Our friends had arrived already and told us the site next them was open. The man who escorted us made a quick call and made the change.

The concrete pads are really long. I will leave a picture. This allowed us to have both the trailer and the truck on the pad. Not the perpendicular park job we are all used to.

It raining all day the following day and we were getting emergency alerts on the phone for dangerous flooding. The RV park has no drainage problem at all. The park is incredibly clean and well maintained.

We did play a couple of days on the golf course there. The course was in excellent shape. Green a bit slow. :-)

The pool area with all the activities available was a nice option. One night they had live music in that center.

This is a fun place to be for sure. Lots of hiking places near by. We will be back!
