Good water park, amenities

Stayed as thousand trails. We were on a huge site; other sites are average for rv park. Great pools and splash pad. Beach. Boating. Very poor to non existent Wi-Fi and cell service (both T-Mobile and Verizon) management great. We were in middle of week and it was calm and quiet but other campers said weekends can be quite boisterous to the point of police being called.

First trip of the year

Close to home and our first time visiting this campground. The staff was very friendly and sites were well maintained. We stayed in Spadefish 3 which was right next to the pool and playground. Weather changes on us and was a bit cold and very windy but we still enjoyed every minute. Would highly recommend.

Great campground on a hill, overlooking the rappahannock river.

We stayed here Sept 2020 during tropical storm and covid, lol. Was a great safe location in port of storm, the sites mostly drained well. Very few sites had issues. Was a wonderful stay, campground is huge, bring your golf cart or rent one there. They did a great job social distancing the management, while maintaining Cdc guidelines even for activities. Of course not everyone there social distanced but we wont go there. Lol. We attended the movie night drive in, was lots of space to park your golf cart more than 6 foot apart and enjoy the movie. Great job Greys Point!

Clean campsite and restrooms

We had a great time at Grey’s Point campground and would love to go again. The had great staff, clean restrooms, and great views of the Rappahannck River. The only negative, if you will, was everyone was not practicing social distancing during these trying times.

Lots of fun and lots of traffic

There are so many activities for kids at this campground. There are waters slides, playgrounds, fishing, water rentals, and campground sponsored fun.

What’s most noticeable are all of the golf carts. There’s a lot of area to cover, so most bring their carts or you can rent one. Open field camping mostly with full hookups.

About half of the campground are permanent sites. These are neatly organized like a neighborhood in the woods and along the water.

Family oriented

This is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. It is very family oriented with lots to do for all ages. The sites are spacious and always clean when we arrive. The new bath house is excellent. The views of the “Rivah” are phenomenal. The staf is wonderful and their nightly safety patrol is always present and keeping things under control. Definitely a safe place for all. One day we will be an annual there hurry up retirement.
