Experience the old west and stay at the best!    Feel how pioneers camped as they trekked across the mountains at East Canyon State Park.  With our full size wagons they can accommodate up to 4 people.   These wagons are furnished with a king size bed, and twin bunk beds.  A small kitchenette table and stools are perfect for that late night board game.   A small fridge and microwave are available for your camping snacks.    The wagon sites have a picnic table, propane gas grill, and fire pits for your cooking needs.   Additional parking in each site is available upon request at the park.  $100.00 Mon-Thurs.  $130.00 Fri, Sat, Sun, and holidays.   A $200.00 refundable security deposit is required.  Sorry no pets allowed in the wagons.

Rv Trailer

Come stay in our RV trailer all set up for your camping experience.  The trailer is fully functional with power, water and a restroom.  With a quad bunk bed set up 4 members of your family can stay in their own fun room.  The couch will convert into a double bed, and the master room will accommodate 2 people.   The site has a covered pavilion, picnic table and fire pit.   Don’t miss your chance to have your family stay in the newest addition to our camping options.   $100.00 Mon-Thurs.  $130.00 Fri, Sat, Sun, and holidays.   A $200.00 refundable security deposit is required.  Sorry no pets allowed in the RV.


East Canyon Yurt

Yurts
Get out of the dirt and into a yurt! $70 Mon-Thurs (excluding holidays) $100 Fri, Sat, Sun ($200 security deposit required- collected at the park).

Can sleep up to 8 people.  Bunk bed, small table, chairs, and a futon.  Power also in the yurts.  Cooking can be done on the gas grill on the yurt decks.   Fire pits are now available at each yurt.  Sorry no pets in or around yurts. Heat is turned off May 15 – Oct 15, or as temperatures dictates.  Restrooms near the yurts. No pets allowed in the yurts.


East Canyon Cabin

Cabins

Cabins: $70 Mon-Thurs (excluding holidays) $100 Fri, Sat, Sun  ($200 security deposit required- collected at the park).  Can accommodate up to six people and have ADA accessibility.

Each cabin has bunk beds, table and chairs, lights and power, Heat/AC, small microwave and refrigerator, water in the site (in summer, not in the cabin) The restrooms are located near the cabins,  restrooms with showers(summer) and vault restrooms (winter). No pets in/around cabins.


East Canyon Hammock Campground

Hammock Camping

$20.00 a night for the entire site.  Bring your family and friends out and come hang with us.   The hammock structure can accommodate up to 8 people.  It’s great for scout groups and folks who just don’t want to tent up.

Don’t have a hammock? No problem! We have hammock rentals for you. The rental fee is $10.00 per-hammock + straps for your entire stay, plus a refundable fee (depending on the condition of the hammock when returned) of $60.00  Bring your sleeping bag and your set.

East Canyon State Park

Granite Flat Campground is located a short distance up scenic American Fork Canyon, less than a mile from Tibble Fork Reservoir. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing and exploring local trails. Recreation Nearby Tibble Fork and Silver Flat Reservoirs offer canoeing, kayaking and fishing for rainbow, brook and brown trout. A portion of the north shore at Tibble Fork is accessible. Both reservoirs are open only to non-motorized watercraft. Scuba divers frequent Tibble Fork's south shore. Hiking and mountain biking trails abound, some beginning at the reservoir and others nearby. The 6-mile Tibble Fork Trail, 2-mile Pine Hollow Trail, 3-mile Mill Canyon Trail and the 15-mile Ridge Trail are all in the vicinity. Facilities This large campground offers three group sites and several single and double-family sites, most of which are accessible. Picnic tables and campfire rings are provided, as are vault toilets. Horseshoe pits and a grassy baseball field are located on-site. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Natural Features The campground is situated among dense stands of aspen, Douglas fir, spruce and pine trees at an elevation of 6,400 feet. Rugged Wasatch peaks surround the area. Wildlife and summer wildflowers are abundant. Nearby Attractions Timpanogos Cave National Monument is just a few miles down American Fork Canyon, with a rewarding but steep 1.5-mile hike to a guided tour of the spectacular three-room cave system. The trail offers beautiful views of American Fork Canyon. American Fork Creek can be accessed 3 miles south. A favorite among fly-fisherman, the creek has light pressure for stocked rainbow trout. The 20-mile paved Alpine Loop Scenic Byway passes just a few miles from the campground, traveling through alpine canyons, mountain meadows, aspen groves and pine forests, with breathtaking views of the Wasatch Range. This road is not recommended for vehicles over 30 feet in length. Timpanogos and Lone Peak Wilderness Areas are nearby, offering a myriad of additional hiking and biking opportunities. Granite Flat (utah)

Aspen Forest is a secluded 1/2 acre campsite up Tollgate Canyon, just 20 minutes away from Park City. Features of the campsite include a 12X20 tent site, a hammock, charcoal and propane grilling station, a food prep area, a shaded picnic table, and a propane firepit area with Adirondack chairs. To ensure your comfort, hi-speed Wi-Fi, electricity and drinking water are also onsite.

The campsite shares a driveway with a small cabin, which makes the utilities in this remote mountain landscape possible. Please note that Cabin renters will not be present during your stay at the campsite, but owners and contractors may occasionally be at the cabin to perform cleaning and maintenance. Campers can expect privacy within the campsite area and will be notified of anyone else present on the property via the app.

FREE amenities! Your campsite rental includes the use of of hiking poles, outdoor games, mountain bikes and fishing gear. Explore the beautiful mountain roads, cast your line into nearby Bobcat Springs for some cozy pond fishing or pursue the majestic views with a hike on the nearby Rocky Point Reserve trail. At dawn and dusk, you can often catch a peek of some of the local deer, elk, moose or wild turkeys in the area.

For reasonable daily rates, you can also rent an ATV onsite and explore miles of unpaved roads. Do you enjoy getting out on the water? Explore Jordanelle, Rockport or Echo Reservoirs- each within short distances from Tollgate Canyon. A full sized raft, SUP and kayak with paddles and life jackets are also available for rent on a self-serve basis. We also have several roof and trunk mounted carrier systems so you can transport gear on your vehicle if you’re not already equipped. If fine dining, festivals, summer concerts and high-end shopping fits in your definition of camping, simply cruise down the canyon into Park City. Aspen Forest offers a comfortable, safe and convenient location to enjoy the best of both worlds! As campsite owners, our goal is to help you have an enjoyable and memorable stay while you pursue your favorite activities!

The campsite bathroom consists of a 5 gallon camp toilet (hand pump flush style) and hand-washing station in a separate, private tent on the perimeter of camp. Please be considerate of others and refrain from using the campsite property as a restroom. If you’d prefer a luxury indoor bathroom with a flushing toilet while you camp, access to the cabin may be available at reasonable rates. Simply contact us via the app before or during your visit for more details.

If you plan on cooking onsite with the grilling equipment provided and did not bring your own fuel, charcoal briquettes and propane tanks can also be purchased on site via QR code.

Day use of the cabin interior for indoor cooking, relaxation, movie watching or as a shelter for inclement weather may also be available. Please chat us within the app for questions on availability and pricing.

Aspen Forest Campsite

## Overview

Bountiful Peak Campground is set in an alpine basin high in the Wasatch Mountains at an elevation of 7,500 feet. Farmington, Utah, is 9 miles away. Visitors enjoy exploring local trails on foot, bike and off-road vehicles.

## Recreation

Numerous trails are within the area, offering beautiful views of Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Back. Skyline Drive passes near the campground, offering scenic driving opportunities. Fishing and in-season hunting are popular activities.

Bountiful Peak Campground

## Overview

Mueller Park Group Picnic Area is located just 5 miles from Bountiful, Utah, at an elevation of 5,400 feet. Visitors enjoy relaxing in the shade along Mill Creek and exploring local trails.

#### Natural Features:

Shady maple, aspen, cottonwood, willow, pine and fir trees surround this beautiful site, offering a cool retreat from the city below. Mill Creek tumbles through the site. Summer wildflowers are plentiful and autumn leaves put on quite a show.

#### Recreation:

Mueller Canyon offers excellent trail opportunities. Hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking and horseback riding are allowed here. Mueller Park Trail is 13 miles long, gradually climbing into the Wasatch foothills through dense forests before passing Elephant Rock and ending at Rudys Flat.  
  
Kenney Creek Trail is nearby and can be used to access the Great Western Trail. North Park Trail connects with Grandview Peak Trail and Cottonwood Gulch.

#### Facilities:

This group area contains 18 day-use picnic sites, accommodating groups as small as 16 people and as large as 100. All sites have tables, campfire rings and grills.   
  
Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads, parking spurs and walking paths within the site are paved. A volleyball court and childrens playground are on-site.

Spruces Campground is located in scenic Big Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 7,500 feet. Salt Lake City is conveniently close. Visitors enjoy hiking, biking and fishing and Big Cottonwood Canyon camping. Recreation Hiking and mountain biking are popular activities on canyon trails, including the Donut Falls Trail, which begins in the nearby Jordan Pines Campground. Fly-fishermen enjoy casting on Big Cottonwood Creek. Facilities This large campground contains several group overnight campsites and day-use picnic sites, as well as numerous single and double-family campsites. All sites have picnic tables, campfire rings and grills. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. A baseball field, volleyball court and horseshoe pits are located within the campground. ## Recreation

Hiking and mountain biking are popular activities on area trails, including the Donut Falls Trail, which begins nearby. Fly-fishing is a favorite activity on Big Cottonwood Creek.

## Facilities

This group campground is a perfect location for family reunions, church outings and company picnics. It offers four overnight campsites and one day-use picnic site, all of which contain picnic tables, campfire rings and grills. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. A volleyball court and horseshoe pit are available, but campers must bring their own net, ball and horseshoes. Roads and parking spurs are paved. 

**Jordan Pines Campground only accommodates groups and therefore requires a reservation.**

## Overview

Tanners Flat Campground is located in scenic Little Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 7,200 feet, just 6 miles from Sandy, Utah. The canyon offers many hiking and biking opportunities.

## Recreation

Hiking and mountain biking trailheads can be found throughout the canyon. Hikers enjoy Red Pine Lake, White Pine Lake and Maybird Gulch, all beautiful hikes leading to alpine lakes. Mountain bikers enjoy the Cottonwood Creek Trail and Albion Meadows Trail.  
  
Little Cottonwood Creek offers good trout fishing and is a favorite among local fly-fishermen.

## Facilities

The campground contains 31 single sites, three double sites, four overnight group sites and an amphitheater. The family and overnight group sites have picnic tables and campfire rings. The group overnight sites also have grills and serving tables. The amphitheater has benches and a presentation area, but does not have tables or a fire ring. The amphitheater is available in four hour blocks (8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm, 6pm-10pm).  
  
Flush and vault toilets are provided, as is drinking water. A volleyball court is available but campers must bring their own net and ball. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Roads and parking spurs are paved. 

## Natural Features

The campground is set among a forest of shady pine, aspen, oak and maple trees. Vivid summer wildflowers are abundant, and autumn leaves put on quite a show. Little Cottonwood Creek runs along the edge of the campground. 

## Nearby Attractions

Little Cottonwood Canyon is a beautiful area known for its soaring peaks, unique geology, pristine hidden lakes and cascading streams. Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails are in the area. Rock climbing is a popular activity as well.   
  
Snowbird Resort is a few miles up-canyon, offering scenic tram rides, hiking, mountain biking, restaurants, groceries, an Alpine Slide, zip line rides, concerts and various festivals.  
  
Albion Basin, part of Alta Ski Resort just a few miles further up-canyon, hosts the Wasatch Wildflower Festival annually in late July/early August, complete with guided nature walks. Numerous hiking trails can be found in Albion Basin, including the 1.5-mile round-trip hike to Cecret Lake.

## Charges & Cancellations

**Change and Cancellation Policies and Fees**

  * Overnight and Day Use Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed beyond the booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation.
  * Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  * You can cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.



**Late Cancellations**

  * Overnight and Day Use Facilities: Late cancellations are those cancelled between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern) on the day before arrival and check out time on the day after arrival.
  * Individual Campsites: If a customer cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a $10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night's reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply.
  * Cabins / Lookouts: Customers will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee and forfeit the first night's use fee if a cabin or lookout reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.
  * Group Facility: If a customer cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's use fee. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.
  * Group Day Use Area: If a customer cancels a group day use facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will forfeit the total day use fee with no service fee charge.



**No-Shows**

  * Camping / Day Use: A camping no-show customer is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. Reserved campsites and group overnight facilities will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. Group day-use facilities will be held until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date.
  * If a customer does not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by the times listed under "Late Cancellations" above, the customer may be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit use fees.



**Refunds**

  * Customers must request refunds no later than 14 days after the scheduled departure date. Recreation.gov will not grant refund requests after 14 days of departure.
  * Reservation Fee: For some facilities, tours or permits an additional reservation fee is charged. For some overnight and day-use facilities, an additional non-refundable reservation fee may apply. The non-refundable reservation fee for tours and tickets is $1.00. The non-refundable reservation fee for permits varies by location.
  * Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank card.
  * Refunds for Check or Cash Purchases: Refunds for Recreation.gov payments made by check or money order, and cash payments at selected campgrounds will be issued a check refund. A refund will be processed within 30 days of receipt and approval. Please Note: Refund requests made during or after departure can only be processed when approved by the facility management staff based upon local policy.
  * Refunds for Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov team will attempt to notify users and offer alternate dates (as appropriate). If this is not possible, reservations will be cancelled and all fees paid will be refunded. Reservation fees for free tickets are non-refundable in the event of an emergency closure.



**Recreation.gov Billing Information**

  * Reservation transaction will appear on customer's credit card statements as "Recreation.gov 877-444-6777."



**Changes to Policies and Procedures**

  * Recreation.gov reserves the right, when necessary, to modify reservation policies. These policies were last updated July 2018.

Tanners Flat

Cherry Hill has 180 campsites nestled among 700 trees. Our camp sites are shaded, level and clean. Most of the RV sites have 30 amps with some sites containing 50 amps. We accommodate tents and all RV’s up to 40 feet. Family Reunions, Youth Groups, and Church Groups are welcome. 

 Full camping services are open April 1st – October 31st at our regular camping rates.
 Limited winter camping is available. The bathrooms and showers are closed from November 1st through March 31st making the camping fee only $25 between these dates.
 Check In is anytime after 1pm unless we have availability.
 Check Out time is Noon.
