Bureau of Land Management operates Ledge C on public land south of campgrounds around Moab, where the access road becomes rougher past nearby Ledge B. Campers report no cell service at this location, though mountain biking and hiking trails run close to the sites. The rough road requires slower driving but remains passable for most vehicles with careful navigation.
Description
Five separate campgrounds with 105 sites are located in a scenic, red rock valley popular with ATV, UTV and 4WD users. Individual sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis and each can accommodate 10 people and 2 vehicles. One group site, The Ledge Group Site, is reservable for groups (15-30 people). Popular in the spring and fall, these sites are very hot in summer (limited shade).
