Great campground, awesome amenities

The tent site were a little tight for our camper van so they pro rated us the tent price for the first night. Very clean showers and bathrooms. Washing machines and dryers available for a fee in an air conditioned room. Very friendly staff!

Friendly and Clean!

We only got to stay one night in one of the cabins, and definitely wish it was more! The cabin was really cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly at check-in, ensuring we had everything we needed. We watched mule deer out the window for a while and had fantastic views around us. Will definitely be coming back on another trip through Utah!

Amazing Place to Stay in Escalante!

Amazing place to stay in Escalante! The owners and managers are so nice and everything was comfy and perfect! They had kettle corn outside at night and karaoke! This was such a great place to stay and had all the amenities! It’s also right across the street from the Visitor Center which is really convenient. It’s a family friendly property and you can tell they really care about taking care of it. I’d recommend if you’re traveling to Escalante you book a spot here.

Incredible Value

We were happily surprised by the lovely, clean bathrooms, the friendliness of the staff, etc.

The only thing is the campsites were pretty close to each other, so if you want lots of space, this may not be the best for you.

Awesome spot

Fantastic deal, although in hindsight there are hundreds of BLM spots within 2 miles so we would have boondocked had we known. The campground is fantastic - we chose a tent spot for our 24 ft camper and spent $33 for a beautiful spot hidden away in the trees. Free potable water and FREE showers in a beautiful facility (use the tent camping bathroom). Did 3 massive loads of laundry and dried for $20. Super friendly, convenient, would definitely go back

Sandy but large

Stayed for two nights. We picked a corner spot which coincidentally was the farthest from the office - the only restrooms in the park. Tons of rv spaces and the park was only about 1/3 full so there was decent privacy. Views of canyons in the distance, but behind a neighboring trailer park. Facilities were great, laundry, showers, restrooms, 110 plug-in and water were great. Site was really Sandy so make sure to bring entry mats for this campground!

Thank you for your review. Here at ECRV we appreciate all of our guest and the feedback they can give us to help us better our park. We are sorry you were so far away from the bathhouses and well as the office. We hope that if you come back to stay with us again you would give us the opportunity to make things better for your stay.

Clean amenities and friendly staff

We enjoyed two nights at this park with our travel trailer. The washrooms and laundry facilities were kept very clean and wash shower had a cloth and bath mat. The office staff were friendly and helpful when planning our trip to the local gulches. The road to the gulches was rough and our truck got a flat. Be prepared with lots of water, food and full gas tank in case you run into trouble on the road. No signal on the road to the gulches. There was a small playground for the children as well.

Always a great place to stop

We have stayed here a few times over the last 12 months. It makes for a great place to set up shop after coming off a few days of boondocking. the laundry, showers, and customer service are all great. We always pick a location near the showers, however, seeing how much they have expanded we might stay for longer next time at one of their new spots.

Nice facilities

First time staying in an RV park. He were very happy with the facilities. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because it could have been stocked better. There was never toilet paper or hand soap and 2 of the showers were permanently locked. Great location and close to town.

Thank you for letting us know how we can improve. We will check more frequently to be sure the bathrooms are stocked. In the past, when we leave abundant TP, it tends to sprout legs and walk away, but we will check more frequently! Thanks for the heads up!

Great spot in Escalante town

We arrived here in a winter storm and were very happy to find an open RV park as most campgrounds and other RV parks were closed for the season. We did not need full-hook ups but we were asked to use the RV sites anyways (just not use the power, sewage connections) as the regular sites were not plowed. Lots of snow fell during the afternoon/evening but maintenance person plowed in the morning. Nice hot showers with nice hot pressure in laundry room. Wifi and excellent cell coverage on Verizon, spotty on AT&T. The little town of Escalante has several restaurants, a brew pub, a natural market and a general store. All restaurants were closed though except for Nemo drive-through which had good burgers food to go. A great place to anchor down in a winter storm.

Good basecamp

We were here for 7 nights mid-November. It was very cold so we had to disconnect water at night but hook-ups were easy to use and worked well. Sites are gravel, fairly level and very large. Plenty of room for trailer and truck in site. Wi-Fi was weak even right by the office but, if you're patient (or have a booster) it's fine. Bathrooms/showers in the laundromat were clean and in good repair. Laundry was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not a lot to do super close by but not too far from good stuff!

Thank you for taking time to leave a 5 star review. We appreciate it SO much!!
