Escalante Heritage Center

They have tent and RV sites. We were the only ones here. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. I believe the RV sites each has water. There is water and bathrooms for tent sites. Bathrooms are up by the visitors center a short walk from the campground. There is no shade, but we were gone all day sightseeing, so that wasn't a problem for us.

Nice Finds

Nice small county run campground just east of Escalante, UT. Great for a home base to explore Bryce Canyon NP, Grand Staircase-Escalante NM, and Utah’s Petrified Forest SP. potable water provided, but dry camping otherwise. Tent campers have easy access to restroom facilities open 24 hrs.

Escalante River Trailhead is within easy walking distance.

Site“Schultz”. Sites named for original Hole in the Rock settlers.
