Escalante Heritage Center Campground is located just east of the town of Escalante in southern Utah. The campground is conveniently situated near the visitor center, making it easy to find. It's accessible via a well-maintained road that doesn't require any specialized vehicles. Its strategic location provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding natural attractions, with good proximity to major highways connecting to regional destinations.

Escalante Heritage Center Campground offers basic amenities for both tent and RV campers. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. RV sites have water hookups, while tent campers have access to potable water stations. The campground features 24-hour restroom facilities located near the visitor center, a short walk from the camping area. This is primarily dry camping with no electrical hookups or shower facilities. The open layout provides little natural shade, so come prepared for sun exposure during daytime hours.

Escalante Heritage Center Campground serves as an ideal home base for exploring several spectacular attractions in southern Utah.
