Highway noise and small spots

This park is not in St. George and off of a major highway. It’s not really a “getaway” by any means. We’re only here for one night. Spaces are small and very close to each other. Little to no privacy. Showers lack privacy as well.

Sandy but large

Stayed for two nights. We picked a corner spot which coincidentally was the farthest from the office - the only restrooms in the park. Tons of rv spaces and the park was only about 1/3 full so there was decent privacy. Views of canyons in the distance, but behind a neighboring trailer park. Facilities were great, laundry, showers, restrooms, 110 plug-in and water were great. Site was really Sandy so make sure to bring entry mats for this campground!

Easy check in, nice amenities

My first KOA stop didn’t disappoint. Bathrooms were great - individual rooms with toilet and shower for excellent privacy. They all kind of smelled like cat littler which was a little strange, but otherwise they were clean and sufficient. Hookups worked great. Check-in after hours was a breeze, they left me a packet with my name and site info on it. They also provided text messaging support before and during our stay. Would stay here again. The only negative was that the sites were very close to each other, not a lot of privacy, but we were just passing through for one night. Also, this place is a haven for birds. If you hate the sound of birds chirping, you may not like this campground. I’ve never seen so many birds and bird nests! So cute.

Bathrooms not great

Campground was very quite. We had a good spot that was facing a big empty green field and no one camped next to us so it was pretty private. We had a grassy area next to our RV but it wasn’t level. Bathrooms weren’t clean and the latches and both of the bathrooms doors were broken so you couldn’t full close them. Power lines everywhere in view, beach was empty but probably gets busy in the summer.
