Dirt roads branch off Temple Mountain Road and Goblin Valley Road, leading to open sites with firepits and wide sightlines across the desert. The area sits within BLM land managed by the Price Field Office, where free dispersed camping is permitted with no reservation required. Cell signal varies depending on line of sight to the Hanksville tower. No shade, and sites are exposed to wind. The Goblin Valley entrance station has a water standpipe available to dispersed campers. Nights here are dark enough for clear Milky Way viewing, making it worth arriving before sunset to claim a sheltered low spot.
