Not good camping. If you can, avoid campsites T1-4. You literally have a parking lot next to your tent and even the street lights shining on you. It is INREDIBLY loud. The bathrooms by the site are portable. The showers are way far from campsites, but very nice. The pool and location is fantastic! It’s the reason why I have stayed here so many times. There is also a cool playground for the kids. Maybe it’s just me getting older, but I probably won’t stay here again. We even left a day early because we didn’t want to endure another crappy night of sleep.
Great facilities, able to walk around town from camp, upkept, clean and seemed safe.
Downfalls would be our ability to hear traffic from our tent camp. And the small area designated for each tent site.
We used it as a restarting point to regroup, do laundry, shower, repack and move onto the next portion of our trip. Also came back for showers on our way through town.
This little hidden gem in the middle of Moab is great. It's clean, quaint and right in the center of town. We can't wait to get back there.
Very, very tight RV spaces. Had to park truck perpendicular to trailer. At times we were blocked by neighbors vehicles, but they had nowhere else to park. Had to wait to leave because exiting from our site was blocked anytime someone used the dump station. Would be horrible for a one night stay. They have a “dog park” that is tiny. Pretty useless except for very small dogs. It is very obvious they tried to maximize the number of sites at the expense of ease of access.
The good things are the rest rooms were clean, the sites did have some shade, concrete pads for parking RV, and (depending on if this matters to you) it is right in town in Moab with easy walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and stores.
While it's "nice" it is in a terrible location, it's hard to get on and off the street, it's hard to get around in with anything of size, only the tent spots have fire rings, and the high school band is across the fence every morning at 0600! But, at least it's really expensive.
This picture is the only one I could bring myself to take.
Easy to get too, next door to a store, pool, sells firewood and near two national parks
We got to Moab late on a Saturday and decided to use a RV park campground instead of a more primitive site. This place was great! We camped in the very back of the park, across the creek from the main campground. It was very quite and peaceful because all of the back sites were tent only. The creek was easily crossed in our VW Beetle. The sites were fair sized and had an easy two minute walk across the footbridge to the showers and restrooms. The picnic table had a shade to cover it but there were plenty of trees and canyon walls to provide natural shade throughout the day. There is a CV store at the entrance for any supplies, groceries or gas. We didn’t use the pool area but it looked nice. It was a very well maintained and cared for campground that I would certainly recommend to anyone!
Clean, quiet RV & tent campground right in Moab. Lots of beautiful, mature trees. Really liked that the sites had paved pads for RV parking. Gravel on the roads is well maintained for easy driving & walking. Overall beautiful and peaceful to camp
