Basic Forest Service Campground

About like most Forest Service campgrounds. Quiet. Easy access. Some nice big sycamores for shade.

Good place for an overnight stopover

We stayed overnight after hiking the Tolby Creek Loop nearby the campground.  Pleasant shady place with occasional highway noise.  No cell service.

Good stay near the town center

Pros: great location- walkable to shops and restaurants - nice shade trees - nice people

Cons - sites packed pretty tight

Simple, comfortable spot

Free BLM campground. Modern and well kept. Only a few others there the night we stayed so it was quiet and peaceful

Nice in every way other than no shade

The good - riverside, clean, modern, nice showers, nice clubhouse, bikeway along river, close to GJ amphitheater for walking to concert

The cons - very exposed - zero shade, little commercial within walking distance, 15 min bike ride to downtown
